I'm 100 percent not defending him. He was a ****** idiot last night including the penalty. That said this is what I saw on the play. The guy stuck his finger in Claypools face. Claypool did the same and pushed his face mask with his finger. The guy shoved him. They flagged Claypool presumably cause the ref thought he started it. Unsportsmanlike conduct. Ok. Maybe. Personal foul. Cmon. Still he had a jackass night even if he made some plays.

first never gets seen
second gets the flag

always been like this, always will be like this

which is why they say to "play smart"

which is also why the Vikings were livid with their CB for the taunting/unsportsmanlike flag he got.

Dude simply needs to grow up and learn to be a professional. And this is where we have a big lack in our locker room. This is a weekly thing for Claypool. Catches a 6 yard pass for a first down. He acts like he just caught the winning TD in a SB. Tomlin could have easily ended this his rookie year. Kind of hard for Tomlin I guess when you had another WR tik toking weekly making his dime doing it.

It's discipline, plain and simple. You don't do this **** or make the finger first down when there's literally seconds left on the clock. I'm glad I recorded this game and didn't watch it live.

Somebody has to teach discipline and it seems and it's not happening. I'd love to see Heyward get mean with a few of them.

But wasn't the shove the second thing. And Objectionable conduct. Sure. Unnecessary Roughness. C'mon.

We'll see what Claypool does next week. If he gets the message, after a first-down reception he'll run back to the huddle. I don't think he'll be able to resist making the signal.

It's the game nowadays and the refs calling it. If stuff is gonna get called, don't do it. (And no, I don't like all the penalties)

Now that the season is over I'd like to see them put Claypool on IR for continuous mental lapses and poor behavior.

The steelers are an example of the mentality of today’s younger generation. I don’t think anything is going to change culture wise soon. Hope I’m wrong.

But these guys are not committed to football like the players prior. It’s all about money and making it to retirement not broken down.

He also made some great catches last night. If he can quit the boneheaded stuff he could be a big weapon on offense.

I just think it's all so inconsistent. Remember Mike Jones in the SB versus Packers they called him for UR in that game for a push and a flop no worse than that guy. And it was a crucial moment.

This has been an isdue with Claypool all season… he has to have the most after the play fouls in Steelers history for a wr

They pampered him in his rookie year, now he thinks he is the last coca cola in the desert

Claypool basically avoided taking responsibility for wasting valuable time to signal first down.

I've had enough of Claypoop's ****.

He should get benched for a week but no, he'll start like nothing happened. It's the new Steelers Way.

A few things here. First he did say he needs to do better. Next, he wasn't lying, Turner runs to him to grab the ball and give it to the ref and the ref flat out dropped it.

On a side note, I've never had a big prob with the first down signal (there is a time and a place and Claypool needs to learn that), but I've been really impressed with the way Harris conducts himself after plays. Shaking hands with defenders, giving props to the OL after runs, very Barry Sanders like.

Again not defending him at all but it wasn't Turner. The defender knocked the ball out of his hand intentionally. It should have been penalized for delay of game.
