Coach's post game ramblings

liar...coach says no one talks about it so it has to be true.....

Hell, why do you think Coolie keeps pimping Ed Oliver....gotta fix the DL issues also

WHO the **** is this Coolie guy????????

Could we possibly get like 1 single thread where you list/discuss ALL of your thoughts about the previous day's game instead of 1 thread for each thought. ****, call it "Coach's Corner" or some aggrandizing bullshit like that.

ask and you shall receive

yeah someone needs to cap Attenion boy's thread starting capabilities.

NOT all of Coaches threads are bad but then again NOT all of his threads are good.

Glad we have a separate thread for the Attention *****'s thoughts. Oh what would we do without it...........

I'll be able to spend more time following BELL around on a jet ski.....................

And, we still use 2 DL way too often and have our LB's covering WR's down field. Those two things right there make no sense and are piss poor coaching.
Yep it's horrible vs the run, we get gouged then we get no push vs the pass. Heyward, Tuitt, alualu, big dan, hargrave, is there one more DE im forgetting? You can rotate those guys to keep 3 on most of the time.

What team have you been watching? ? Heyward was amazing last year. This year, he's had one good game, and after that he has been underwhelming.

As one of our best players and team captain, he needs more than 1 tackle a game, which is what he had vs Tampa Bay.

We need a true 2 gap Dt/NT that can push the pocket and play the run. Oliver is a gap shooting type, who at 290 pounds will be giving up 20-30 pounds to most center's and guard and his completion he's playing against has been weak. I question his upside as a pass rusher, and worry he might be a bit weak vs the run. Not to say he won't be a player maker in the right system.

For the draft I liked DT/NT De'Ron Payne a lot. Payne is SEC battle tested, much bigger / stronger than Oliver. Last game he had five tackles and a sack. Oliver in 4 games has yet to get one sack vs weak teams that are passing often. I'd rather keep the Oliver stuff out of this tread, as he's not in the NFL.

The pick 6 was caused by pressure up the middle by Big Dan. who had a pretty good game when he was in there. I want to see more of him then Hargrave. who has really regressed.

I'm throwing this out to the peanut gallery. In two full games as a starter Edmunds has one game with 0 tackles and another with just one. As a Strong safety he should me making lots of contact with players vs the run, or after they catch it. Yet he isn't. Why is my question.

Hargrave is below average. Big Dan can make a play or two, he just gets tired quickly, but I agree with what you said.

Without Bell teams are able to pay Brown more attention. Teams are able to play more complex schemes that slow Brown. Getting explosive plays from McDonald will loosen that up. Once Washington is up to speed and starts making the explosive plays we saw in preseason brown will see less attention. Juju is benefiting and taking advantage.

We have said the coverage can be fixed for three years. No way, they cannot cover, they have no idea many times where the ball is, they really cannot tackle, they stand flat footed and never aggressive to a receiver , running back what ever. Hell last night three stand and let a receiver get up and go for a TD that LUCKLY was just touched and took a replay to see. Burns finally tackles some one and first thing he does when he gets up, come on boys runs to the end zone to have a picture taken. He stunk the field up the rest of game. The pass to the three yard line Burns could have had three flags, holding, interference and horse collar No way this secondary will ever be fixed, good thing we have Hadden. The offense is scoring but the defense cannot get off the field. Look at the times last night we would have Tampa, 2- more than ten, sometimes was twenty and we gave them a first down. Its is right in front of us this defense will be questioned each week especially a pass happy team. The second half had the offense on the field what five time.

Not that you create many posts, but if you do I can reply to them :)

Unlike you, I only create a post when the topic at hand hasn’t already been created.

Also unlike you, I don’t have an insecurity complex that requires perceived affirmation on a sports board, even if it’s just “noise” to feel relevant in the narcissistic world you live in.

1. They need to trust Conner a little more in the passing game. They say he's improved. When he's targeted, it looks like he's improved. So, if you want him to continue the improvement, involve him more.
2. Coty and Artie ... Both suck. It really couldn't be any worse if they let Allen/Sutton have a few reps.
3. 2 DL scheme used more than a couple times a game sucks (especially in the Red Zone)
4. Keep your ******* foot on the opponent's throat when you're up by 2 scores with at least a quarter left in the game. There's no way that this defense has proven to anyone that it should be trusted to protect a lead.
5. Love what Vance did last night. However, you better keep Jesse James involved. It's not like Vance doesn't have longevity issues.
6. **** Lev Bell. Forget about him. Refuse to answer questions about him and make sure the players give a stock answer to any questions about him: "We're working with the guys who are HERE. So, I can't really say anything about that."

You can't refrain yourself from replying. This much is obvious. As for creativity, not your strong suit. Narcissistic? Giving me my own thread title according to you is just what I want.

I like it! Everything you mentioned. Here’s my stock answer for Bell questions. “Le’Veon Who” “We have no one on this team named Le’Veon.

If Your BS topics centered around “look at me” are kept to one all encompassing thread, that makes the board so much better. That way you can be ignored. And you will be on occasion.

My creativity? You mean marking up BS threads about the same thing over and over on how I’m right and everyone is wrong? Sorry that isn’t creativity, that’s attention seeking. You need to tell your professional that your therapy isn’t working.

And for the record genius you getting your own thread is to satisfy your need for attention....aka narcissism.

Go sharpen your crayons to add more useless musings to this thread.

The elephant in the room is still the deep ball inaccuracy of Big Ben. Go back and count the number of throws that landed out of bounds ( uncatchable ) to deep receivers and the throws that were over their heads. I can't remember one deep ball that he completed ( I know there must be some ), most long yardage plays were catch and runs.

Like floundering Bos, Ben has yet to get all his throws down pat. He did look better this week on the mid range and underneath stuff. Washington was open a couple times deep last week and he sailed the ball into another zip code.

It will come, the traditional slow starting Stillers are workin' on it.

Was JuJu’s long catch short of the route, or did he just high point it perfectly?
