The elephant in the room is still the deep ball inaccuracy of Big Ben. Go back and count the number of throws that landed out of bounds ( uncatchable ) to deep receivers and the throws that were over their heads. I can't remember one deep ball that he completed ( I know there must be some ), most long yardage plays were catch and runs.
Like floundering Bos, Ben has yet to get all his throws down pat. He did look better this week on the mid range and underneath stuff. Washington was open a couple times deep last week and he sailed the ball into another zip code.
It will come, the traditional slow starting Stillers are workin' on it.
He wasn't inaccurate deep with Wallace or Bryant. We really do not have a deep speed receiver to feature. You have to be near perfect on the pass when Brown goes deep because he's not fast and is on the shorter side.
Washington needs to get his timing down. He's not fast either. I hope he's not a one trick pony jump ball type.
