Milroe will be a project. I would not spend a top 10 pick on him. He has talent but doesn’t read the field and struggles with touch. He’s like Will Levis. He does seem to be a hard worker and open to coaching so he’d be a good project but I wouldn’t want to tie my coaching career to him.

ESPN spent lots of time crying about how multiple 3 loss SEC teams should have made the playoffs over Indiana and SMU. Just ignore the regular season results. We know better. Just assume SEC teams are world beaters.

Indiana beat this Michigan team pretty easily. And it was a better Michigan team because they have several starters not playing against Bama.

Lane Kiffin sure ran his mouth. He better take care of business himself.

Not that it matters. All these SEC teams will start next year rated really high.

Bielema and Beamer creating some great theater in that game as well.

Louisville barely hung on to beat Washington 35-34 after Washington failed on the 2-point try. They had a really good effort on the onside kick.

Hawkins had a beautiful toe-tap TD taken away for Baylor because of unclear evidence to overturn it. Too bad especially in an exhibition bowl game.

Bama fans probably want him gone. But it would be near impossible right now. He just signed a big contract that would have a huge buyout. Schools do not have unlimited funds. Now that teams are paying players, getting rid of him now would likely mean they lose some players in the portal because they can get paid elsewhere.

Deboer is a really good coach. His offense worked with Penix at QB. Milroe just isn't a good enough pocket passer for his system. A new QB could bring better results.

Berm would say yes ............ but I will say no .......... Kalen DeBoer will still be in town next season ............ if he begins 0-6 next season then you will find him floating somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico and Berm will be watching football from some 3rd world country that does not extradite and stocks alot of rum

Just a few weeks ago we were told watch out for South Carolina. Nobody wants to take on South Carolina. Here they are losing to Illinois. Maybe Illinois should have been in the playoff.

Apparently MIlroe doesn't fit in with the type of offense DeBoer wants to run but since he was still here DeBoer was kind of stuck with him. He tried to build the offense around him and while it worked in most situations, it wasn't ideal.
Most Tide fans, while pissed at the losses, are savvy enough to realize DeBoer has to build his own team to fit his vision.
But, another 2 years of this crap and coach will be caught in a motel room with a hooker like Mike Price.
