You have to feel like the Bama qb will be first overall when the time comes. I realize how good the tide are so it's difficult to evaluate but that kid looks star quality to me

Oh yeah teams should tank for Tua next year. Hell, we should if there are some injury catastrophes that prevent us from seriously contending

Justin Turner should be first if he declares
Kyler Murray is a talent but he’s getting almost 5mil to play baseball and might go up MLB

I don't see anyone beating Alabama as much as I'd like to see them get thumped. It's like a pro team playing amateurs. I will root for Georgia to beat them, but it will take a game like last year minus the brainfart at the end.

I don’t care about the Big 10 getting shut out of the playoffs, but if they have two teams from the SEC again, it’s bullshit. Having a four team playoff to decide the National Champ of a 100+ team field is absurd. Having two teams from one conference is absurdity cubed.

Who gives a **** what conference the teams that are in the playoffs come from? I want to see the 4 best, most deserving teams make it. I wouldn’t care if they all came from one conference. The best evidence I can point to are the conference championships next week.... Alabama has to play an 11-1 Georgia team while Clemson has to play Pitt for Christ’s sake.

And Ohio State plays Northwestern. If Georgia some how beats Alabama, I think both Georgia and Bama get in

Georgia is not beating Bama. I'm the biggest Dawg homer. Thing with Georgia is you shut down their running game, Fromm makes mistakes.
Defensive backs are penalty prone this season too. Winner of SEC gets into the playoffs though

Winner definitely gets in, but if Alabama would lose to Georgia, they'd probably still get in.

Bama should have tanked today. They would still get in, then Georgia would also get in.

Michigan is fake. Their offense sucks. They can only win if they can power run. They got a bunch of hype beating Penn State but Penn State's defensive weakness is that they are small at DT and can be overpowered. Also Penn State's offensive weakness is their young WRs can'y get off press coverage. That's all Michigan does on defense.

You saw today, if you have an OL that can block Michigan's pass rush and some decent WRs, you can carve them up because they just play man with a bunch of DB that grab instead of cover. Beat that bump and they're toast.

Alabama played nobody this year. LSU is decent i guess but limited offensively.
Bama's non-confeerence schedule was
Louisville (2-10),
Arkansas State
Louisiana
The Citadel

Maybe Bama is as great as they look but it wasn't that hard to look good against their schedule. If they get matched against Oklahoma, they'll destroy them because Oklahoma has no defense.

Clemson and Ohio State can both match Alabama in talent. But both also have relatively inexperienced QBs. They may crack under real pressure. I don't think Notre Dame's offense is good enough to hang with any of the other playoff teams.

It’s pretty simple. “Most deserving” is subjective. If a team isn’t the best team ever n their own conference, they sure as hell shouldn’t get a chance to play for a National Championship over several teams that are the best team in their own conference.

Seriously you're going to look at NON-conference schedule to judge total schedule? Did you look at OSU?

Oregon State- 2-10
TCU- 6-6
Tulane- 6-6

Wow what a great non-conference schedule.... How'd they ever make it through that?
But that doesn't also take into account CONFERENCE schedules where the Big 10 is vastly inferior to the SEC. OSU beat a 1 win Rutgers, 5-7 Indiana, 4-8 Nebraska, 5-7 Maryland (who almost beat them), and get to play a 4 loss Northwestern for a CONFERENCE Championship game. **** me what an easy schedule.. both in conference and out of conference.

Bama has to play LSU, Texas A&M, MS. St, and Auburn every year plus a real championship game against a 1 loss Georgia.

Sure they should. Why should an average team in a bad conference get in over a better team in a better conference? You don't want the best team's playing for the NC. You want conference champs playing against each other even if one conference champ isn't that good. Why should the SEC be punished for being the best conference?
