College Football Week 11 Battle of Unbeatens

Refs controlled the final outcome. You can call that Off pass int call on almost any down.. then no call on the hold on the INT. PSU didn't deserve to win but man, the refs can't be throwing flags in these big situations for one play then not call it on another.

They allowed Penn State back in it with the no call on the delay of game. An OPI on the INT play would've been ticky tack at best. The playoff dream was nice while it lasted.

I am a PSU fan, but I never thought the playoffs were going to happen. PSU is nowhere near the 4th best team in the country....They will get annihilated by OSU.

Heck I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Indiana.

It would have been 1st and 15 after that delay of game, if they called it.. PSU still has a good chance to score. That OPI call was so weak, it went from 1st and goal at the 2 to 2nd and 24... those penalties aren't even close to being comparable. Not to mention the hold on the INT that wasn't called.

Should have been DPI on the INT. Not sure if Clifford was going for Hamler or Dobson on the play but that pass was atrocious either way. If they call the penalty it doesn’t matter though. Terrible non call.

The lesson to take away is that turning the ball over is bad, but it’s worse when you play a good team.

It also doesn’t help when the play calling cripples your team for half the game.

Same here. They have some good young talent, but they need help all over the offense besides RB. Maybe next year if they get some skill in there, and the play calling improves.

Burrow is going to be a good NFL QB. Dolphins are going to be in solid shape if they get him.

Well my PSU dream this year went poof. ugh.

Not sure why Tua is still in the game. He's obviously still hurt.

Penn State came back unexpectedly and then was absolutely robbed. The OPI was a complete joke. The WR was running straight and was at the goal line (almost 10 yards past the line) and the defender put both hands up and extended his arms to hold up/interfere with the WR. How they can call that a pick is just ludicrous. And, then on the interception to end the game, there was obvious PI/holding on WR, No. 5, coming across the middle around the 5 yard line. I didn't even see this one until the announcers called it and showed the replay. No. 5 was actually, more than likely, the intended target. Eliminate even one of those bad calls and PSU probably wins.go

And, that doesn't include the obvious PI on the 2nd interception. Handler was going for the ball and the defender put his entire forearm into handlers chest and pushed him away so he couldn't catch the ball. As a result, the defender had a pretty easy interception. Again, an obvious PI in real time and right in front of an official. That took points off the board for PSU and put 7 on the board for Minnesota.

I didn't really expect PSU to get to this point but now that they did, to have it basically stolen from them sucks even more.

Bama getting some home cooking from the officials so far.. huge hold on a LSU WR inside the 10 yard line, not called.

LSU is the better team so far, IMO. Tua just doesn't impress whether he's healthy or not.

Maybe, but Bama is in the drivers seat if they wouldn't play mistake football. Also looked like LSU was letting Bama back in after the punt return for the TD. Looked like turtle ball to me at that point.

Bama has two plays.. punt return and Tua pass on a basically a coverage bust where the CB was looking to the sideline.

LSU is working them in every aspect.

Bama is a young team this year. They've had to replace around 15 starters and 21 total players + role players. Basically they moved everyone up and they don't have the depth of previous years. They are playing a lot of redshirts from last year.

Looks like LSU prefers to rely on their defense.

If Alabama scores here we have a game.
