College Football Week 11

Looks like loss #2 for Georgia. It will be interesting to see when players start opting out of the rest of the season. Iā€™m guessing when some of these teams get loss #3 we may see a few players quit to avoid injury.
Hopefully none jump into mommy's lap after the 3rd loss...

I love the announcers saying how Penn State is doing so much better than last week. OF COURSE THEY ARE! They're playing a team with 4 losses that hasn't won an away game yet and lost to Rutgers. I have to admit Penn State is playing a lot better than they did against any other opponents so far. Glad I didn't place that bet.

Wash has been a solid defense. Of course not on the level of Ohio State but Penn State has been sluggish in 1st halves even against bad teams this year. Lots of teams come out flat after losing their biggest game of the year. PSU came out very sharp. The offense looks much better in terms of scheme too. Throwing to Wrs and remembering that Tyler Warren is your best player in the redzone.

That bad news once again is the WRs. How many times has Allar set up looking to throw deep and ends up having to check it down? The downfield plays that Allar has made is when he extends the play to wait for his WRs to eventually get open. Can't wait 4 seconds vs top defenses as we saw last week.

A big middle finger to the Big 10 refs too. Last week an Ohio State WR caught a ball, took 2 steps, turned upfield, fumbled, it was ruled a fumble and they overturned it to incomplete and OSU kept the ball.

Tonight Tyler Warren caught one, barely has his 2nd foot down, gets it stripped and they review and call it a fumble.

Penn State is a one half team. Not sure what the issue is, but this game should be over.

I may be alone in my opinion, but I hate this gimmick offense. When they run a traditional type of offense, they look good. Sometimes, I think the gimmicks hold them back. Sure, a win is a win. But man, the offense is just stupid sometimes.

I agree. I like the gimmicks when they are thrown in to keep defenses honest but not when it's a staple of the offense. I roll my eyes whenever Pribula enters the game. Why? It's not like he's an electric runner. He's marginally faster than Allar.

I also hate it when Allar splits out wide. The defense doesn't have to respect him out there. If they throw it out to him then play pass. If they don't then it's a run and PSU has a numbers disadvantage because Allar isn't going to block.

You have a potential 1st round QB. How about we work more on a traditional passing game. Can't allar just get the snap and throw a quick slant?

With 4 Miami and 5 Georgia losing, i would expect Penn State to be 4 on the next playoff ranking. But if it's like the BCS rankings, they want it to be a TV show so they like to jump teams up and down to build drama. Won't be surprised if they jump up Tennessee or Indiana.

In my opinion, Indiana kinda deserves it. No, they havenā€™t really played anyone, but they beat the crap out of everyone theyā€™ve played with the exception of Michigan.

That said, if you think Penn State is better than Indiana, nothing happened this week that should change your thinking. So I could see Indiana checking in at 5 or 6 this week.

Bama moves up...obviously.

Beck and Bobo have brought the Richt era back into UGA .
I expected a minor drop off in talent because theyā€™re replacing guys who are having a good nfl showing. But damn.

Also NIL has made college ball more with better parity
