Next year, they need to change the playoff to re-seed after the first round. Right now, the 5 seed has the best path. Will get to play the 12 seed. Then they will get the 4 seed which is the weakest conference champ. The 1 seed gets a bye but then their first game will be vs the 8 or 9 seed which could be Georgia or Tennessee.

USC had the ball in the redzone, down 7 with a chance to tie. Then they throw a pick 6, then another pick 6 and score looks like a blowout. USC has a real problem in the 4th quarter. Every week they completely fall apart.

How hard does Oregon play tonight against Washington? They have nothing to play for. Locked into the BIg 10 Championship. If they lose this one then beat Penn State, they likely still get the 1 seed.

Notre Dame can only go as High as 5 without conference championship ability. I think the tough call is South Carolina just beat a ranked Clemson.

Wouldn’t be surprised if A&M knocks off Texas and we see OSU, Miami and Texas go down.
I guess poll rankings and playoff rankings are not the same as Notre Dame even at 5 drops to 7th playoff seed. Playoff rankings vs. Poll rankings should also effect Alabama......but of course they will not.

I might add ,keeping it undefeated stops all the team fans with 2-3 losses screaming how they should be ahead in the rankings.

Ryan Day is the most overrated coach in the country with one of the most punchable faces as well. People are talking that he’s John Cooper 2.0. No this was worse than any of Cooper’s games. He has to go and he has to go now. There is no coming back from this. This was the worst home loss in school history.

Ryan Day has had the more talented team for nearly every game he's ever coached. They only games that were even or a deficit was against Georgia and last year against Michigan.
If Ohio State doesn't make a deep run in the playoffs, I think he's fired. Would they promote WR coach and co-offensive coordinator Brian Hartline? Hartline is the reason for the NFL WR pipeline they've had. If they spend tons of money to lure an outside coach, would Hartline stick around?
