Penn State is definitely not in that class of college football teams.

SMU should be a lock win or lose. A Clemson win will knock out Alabama. Boise State unlikely to make it with a loss, but I want to see their RB in the playoffs. If Penn State loses the Big 10 Championship, they are in a great spot and have an incredibly easy road to the semis. Arizona State in the first round at home and then Boise State. Oregon as the top seed has to get Ohio State or Tennessee if things stay as they are.

I thought they might move Notre Dame over Penn State. Lots of people talking about how ND had a better win vs USC and that should move them up. This ranking says PSU is clearly ahead and from what they've said, they want to reward teams for playing in the Championship games and not punish them.

That should mean the Oregon vs Penn State loser is the 5 seed unless it's a blowout.

The 5 seed looks like the easiest playoff path by far. Yes you have to play an extra game but it's a home game vs the 12 seed, then you get the weakest conference winner that would likely be the 12 seed if conference champs didn't automatically get top 4 seeds.

The 1 seed gets a bye but then the first game is neutral field vs Ohio State or Tennessee. Guarantee that gets changed for next year.

I don't think Arizona State will enjoy State College PA in December.

Penn State Fan living in PA...no. they are not. PSU has no WR's and nothing more than a gimmick offense from Kansas. they have the easiest road to the semi's and Franklin will most certainly **** it up.

BTW---Im glad PSU has Arizona St and not ND...
ASU might be playing championship football right now...dont want anything to do with them currently....

Busy day watching the games. Will probably have the batteries and the return button on the remote wore out.

Starts with SMU PSU. Then at 1 start jumping back and forth between that and Texans Chiefs, then At 4 Steelers Ravens/Clemson Texas, then finish it off with the Pens and Tennessee OSU.
