College Football Week 2

I hope I get at least one good game today. So far, I have only seen shut outs.

UL Monroe at 21 Alabama 7:45 SEC Network AL -34.5
The only reason this game is interesting is to see how Bama responds. They were embarrassed last week. They looked soft. Star WR Ryan Williams is walking around with painted nails and a support stuffed animal. That's not a joke.

There are internet rumors that Bama players had girfriends over and were ordering door dash at 1 AM the night before last week's game. I find that hard to believe. But DeBoer is under pressure. He has a $70 million buyout so I don't see any way they can fire him. Not unless you want him gone so bad that you drain NIL funds. I can't see that happening."

Berm is not watching any College football until Coach Deboer is gone. I'm praying it will be in 3 more weeks...

UH takes out cross town rival Rice 35 - 9

defense has been excellent - even had a pick 6 today....offense is up and down and hopefully find their stride next week and stomp the buffs of colorado

Was really hoping that Allar would step it up in this, his senior season. So far, not so good. Too many inaccurate throws and some poor reads as well, against an inferior opponent at home, no less. I can't imagine what the hell he's going to look like on the road versus Ohio State's defense.

Meanwhile, Beau Pribula is tearing it up for Missouri: 30-39 for 334 yards and 3 TDs with no picks in a win against Kansas. He's a true dual-threat QB, and it's nice to see him proving himself now that he's out from under Allar's shadow. Too bad it's not at Penn State.
