Shorts skirts should not matter to MDs who's credo is "first do no harm" and who believe informed consent matters. They advertise because it's profitable, imagine that. With the advent of the internet hypochondriacs can google symptoms, check the TV ads then badger their physicians to prescribe it. At one time, 40-50 years ago, being a drug rep was an honorable profession, filled with people knowing their products. It quickly morphed into short skirts and little other than a smiling face. The providers in my facility dreaded them coming into the building.
What percentage of MDs read package inserts for drugs they are professionally trained to prescribe?
