Covid Vaccine

The first Mrs. Burgundy and mother of my children absolutely refused to take any medication for anything while she was pregnant (twice) and this was over 30 years ago.

I'm all for more natural approaches but they are very difficult to stick to and the reality is many people don't. Do you want to be the doctor who has someone die of a heart attack when you could have prescribed a med that would reduce their risk?

I know many of you think this is all about money and to some extent that plays a role, but meds don't get recommended willy nilly. There is science behind them. Are they perfect? Of course not. Doing nothing is certainly not perfect either. It's a balance. We've gone so far anti-medicine and anti-science it's frightening. I do understand the lost trust after this latest vaccine debacle. I just don't hold the same view of modern medicine as some sinister entity just itching to put us on useless treatments that harm us. Not when average life expectancy was once 39.5 years old and now is pushing 80.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-medicine. My previous doctor was a DO who treated me with truths, options, and meds. He retired and the doctor who replaced him was an instant pill pusher. We need a more holistic approach from our medical professionals and not drug dealers who place patients on drug protocols. That is all I'm trying to say.

Yep, the practice of medicine should never be one size fits all.
My approach has always been less is more, but that requires time that physicians don't have the luxury of, being pressured to see more patients per hour. Also it's the reason I prefer seeing a NP or PA for routine stuff as they will generally listen and give you more time. This isn't a slam on MD's, just a reflection on what they're up against on a daily basis.

It would be hypocritical of me to say that I'm anti-med considering what I did for a living for 45 years, but I will say that I'm a strong proponent of preventative medicine, which requires more time, thought and commitment.

Patches O’Houlihan drinks it because he likes the taste.
There was a kid in my class that was in a clinical study involving second and third pass drug elimination trials when I was at Pitt.
He would carry it into class, and everyone would ask, hey, whatcha got there Ed?

We could help ourselves a lot by eating better and exercising. Most of what people eat is processed unhealthy garbage, and it causes a ton of health issues. And most people are lazy. Don’t do **** but sit on their ***** and eat that processed garbage. No wonder so many are obese and on 41 different medications.

I have a solution for the medicine interactive issue - don't take any of it. Eat healthy, no processed foods, no pop, little to no sugar or carbs, and sleep well.

I rarely take anything. Not even asprin. Can't fathom why chemicals are viewed as the answer to much.

Not laying blame on the vaccines, but if not, then what?

Duh!!! Trump's the cause, JFC!
