Before they died, 50%. After they died, 103%.How many of those in Florida who died voted Democrat? I'm curious.
FYI, immigrants from Mexico and Afghanistan are apparently immune and don't need tests or vaccines.

So as a previous recovered, healthy, eats right, goes to the gym daily ICS I should tell my employer to **** off for making me get this?Let me be clear, I hope all of you who are a little older, maybe overweight or have diabetes or other conditions, and have not already had covid get the vaccine. I think the data is clear that the benefits outweigh the risk for you. If you are young and healthy or have already had covid, I think it's a different discussion.
Honestly the risks of the vaccine are very low. I had to get one for my job but I work with elderly so didn't want to take any chances. My point is not whether people should or shouldn't get one. The demonization of people with legitimate concerns and points of discussion is what bothers me.So as a previous recovered, healthy, eats right, goes to the gym daily ICS I should tell my employer to **** off for making me get this?
I agree.
god I wish I had the money to do so.
No ****. Seems the government could have headed off a lot of this stuff if they had just been honest in the first place about the vaccines waning, natural immunity, etc. But hey, blaming facebook and Foxnews works too. That said misinformation about vaccine safety bothers me equally.
Mine is that I am forced when it provides no benefits to me.Honestly the risks of the vaccine are very low. I had to get one for my job but I work with elderly so didn't want to take any chances. 2,087 total deaths, unvaccinated 11x more likely to die, more like 1,900.

CDC: Unvaccinated people were 11 times more likely to die of COVID-19
"We have the scientific tools we need to turn the corner on this pandemic," CDC director Rochelle Walensky said.www.axios.com

Flog already has his lined up for their 4th poke.I appreciate that and it is sound reasoning. Regardless, the choice should still be an individual's to make. Not the Government's. And I know you don't advocate mandates.
I'm more concerned for my kids. One, the older, must get a jab by Oct 15. No choice or unenroll. Straight A student, loves the school, says he's not leaving school. I can't get Novavax for him. So he's ******. He doesn't need it. He's had Covid. But he is literally being forced to inject. Enraged. He literally doesn't need it. Getting it doesn't help him or society.
The other son is a freshman. His school...so far...is not mandating it.
I'm passionate, as you have all seen, about this discussion. Because of my sons. I said earlier this year we would see mandates. I was worried it would affect my kids. It has, one so far.
Frankly, I'm tired of being right on these predictions and I pray each day more states like MI starting recognizing natural immunity. And I'm praying stuff like Australia gets worse there and riots and fights and demonstrations like we have seen in NYC get worse here too. Fast. Then maybe there is some pause in all this madness and it saves my own from this no-choice situation.
My kids and your kids and all kids...do not need the vaccines. Period.

Did you think that you were more likely to catch the Covid from the elderly folks you work with? Didn't you actually have Covid? Not sure I understand your logic in getting the jab....Honestly the risks of the vaccine are very low. I had to get one for my job but I work with elderly so didn't want to take any chances. Canadian kids getting forced to get the Covid flu shot to play hockey, school sports. My son, in grade 10, very well read up on this, laughs at the teachers preaching VAXVAXVAX (in English class FFS), but still wants to be able to participate in sports. Just like your boy's situation, you can choose to not follow the mandate and be escorted off the property. My kids and your kids and all kids...do not need the vaccines. Period.
I had covid. I am not worried about getting it again. Initially got the vaccine mainly because it absolved me from wearing a mask all day. I do a lot of downsizing, sorting through people's crap, packing and unpacking etc so very physical work. Wearing a mask especially when it's hot is annoying. Later as I started to learn that I could get infected, i.e. I could have virus in my nose even though it's highly unlikely I would get sick, I could possibly still transmit to others. The vast majority of the elderly I work with are vaccinated. However as we know now immune response both to illness and the vaccines is lessened in the elderly. God forbid I get "infected" and infect one of them. I feel much more protected from serious illness than they are. I would hate to be the cause of someone getting sick. Now most of the communities I work with are starting to only allow vaccinated outside vendors into the buildings. I get it. It's a vulnerable population. So while initially it was out of convenience I'm glad I'm vaccinated for other reasons. Again, this is not black and white. The vaccines aren't perfect. They are a tool. If I'm vaccinated and they're vaccinated the risk to them is lower than if only one of us is. It's certainly lower than if neither of us is.Did you think that you were more likely to catch the Covid from the elderly folks you work with? Didn't you actually have Covid? thanks......not sure I understand how being vaccinated lowers the risk of you transmitting Covid to them.I had covid. I am not worried about getting it again. So far none of my clients have gotten seriously ill from covid. I attribute a lot of that to the vaccine.
Because viral loads are lower in vaccinated people. At least for some period of time.thanks......not sure I understand how being vaccinated lowers the risk of you transmitting Covid to them.
The data wasn't clear because they haven't completed any of the clinical studies.I

Of course my natural immunity probably means the same thing, but back in May when I got vaxxed the data wasn't so clear on that.
I will say this Tim if it makes you feel any better. Adverse effects from the vaccine are still very, very rare. My son's third week of college, a few days after the first football game, everyone in his dorm was sick. Most are vaxxed. No one would get tested because they didn't want to leave, so who knows if it was covid or not. But my son got nothing. Maybe the vax after having covid acted as a booster, who knows. Don't forget covid can have long term and adverse effects too. I'm not sure I would have gotten him vaxxed knowing what I know now but after this last experience who knows. Maybe it was for the best.I appreciate that and it is sound reasoning. Regardless, the choice should still be an individual's to make. Not the Government's. And I know you don't advocate mandates.

Yes they had completed the clinical trials. The data wasn't clear on the effectiveness of natural immunity because no one was studying it. There still aren't many studies of it.The data wasn't clear because they haven't completed any of the clinical studies.![]()

Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people had comparably low Ct values, indicating high viral loads, and of the 133 samples sequenced, 90% were identified as Delta.
I hope you are being sarcastic because comparing an infectious disease to cancer is ignorant. Also chemo is a treatment for cancer not a cancer vaccine. Comparing the 2 is not even in the same ballpark.I’m going to go to the hospital tomorrow. I’ve had enough of this. I intend to do my part in getting this cured. Who else will do the same? Who else is willing to put their money where their emotions are and get chemotherapy so we can eradicate cancer? Apparently until we all get chemo, cancer will thrive.
