Hey, has anybody noticed that the impending, unavoidable, cataclysmic race war that we were being told was in violent boil-over a couple years ago has seemingly evaporated in so much steam...

One wonders if it wasn't maybe the MEDIA that was inciting such a damning view of race relations in the U.S.

Or maybe it's just that black unemployment is lower than it's ever been. I don't know.

RUSSIA!

UKRAINE!

STORMEY!

They'll get back to that as well as the border crisis after we get past the impeachment. Imagine how great this country would be if the political environment wasn't as dysfunctional and wasn't the top headline every day.

I haven’t used “flamer” in a while. Nice touch, Spike.

Blacks are too busy working to have time to protest or start a race war. Kind of like Republicans.

They've rode that fictional fear tactic for all it's worth...**** economy is historically booming...what to do..what to do...hmmm...back to free stuff..yeah that's it. Free healthcare, free college, free houses, free food, free money and free from opposing thought zones. Forget that those are private sector sources who provide that the labor, knowledge and materials...hmmm maybe free school =free work for the state. We can just take that over like we attemted/still attempting on healthcare.

Let's attack private gun owners as well. Maybe we can push people hard enough that someone flips the **** out and we can confiscate.

Let's not forget those baby killing rights. We must get that going again. And let's scare the retired citizens while we're at it. They spook easy.

It's amazingly predictable that WHENEVER the economy starts to hum, democrats say we are all of a sudden rich enough for their tax and spend on a "better society" policies.

I just can't stand it. No restraint. No "look at 10 year averages". No understanding there are down turns. Just advance the idea that governmenet can get bigger and bigger and bigger even though they KNOW that once you make government bigger, there is no way to put the cat back in the bag. Governments NEVER get smaller. Never.

The only way we can hope for a lower deficit and smaller government is for the economy to grow FASTER than government grows. But with the world under the yoke of socialism and communism and our population growing a comfortable .5-1%, I just don't ever see the U.S. getting to sustained 3-4% growth, which every government program already has built in as "cost of living increase"....

It is unsustainable. Trump is trying. Cutting federal programs. Just letting some die on the vine. Reducing regulation. Trying to put a halt to some salary increases and pension craziness.

Who knows. It would take 20 years of Republican governance and them trying every trick in the book to reduce spending increases for the economy to "catch up" to where it needs to be to feed the monster we have created.

Who knows. Maybe Trump is the beginning of 20 years. 8 Years of Trump and 8 years of Nikki Haley would be a hell of a start.
