Dolphins waived DT Anthony Johnson
The second-year UDFA out of LSU made the Dolphins and played 84 snaps last season, but was the odd man out this year following the additions of Ndamukong Suh and C.J. Mosley.

Texans waived NT Louis Nix.
Nix was the 83rd overall pick in last year's draft. He never played a down for the Texans after missing his entire rookie season with a wrist injury. The Texans then signed Vince Wilfork this offseason and drafted NT Christian Covingto

Ugh, how many of you ninnies wanted us to use our 1st round pick on a nose tackle with bad knees who would only play 30% of the snaps when healthy????
too many injuries - I waive my request for him...
I'll agree with this - now that I've done more research on him...PASS.
I tend to share this view
T.J. Yates cut by the Falcons. Unless he's injured, he's an upgrade from Vick or L. Jones.
But some team higher in the wiaver-claiming pecking order will probably take him.

Here's a guy I'd rather have than Josh Harris...and he would push Dri Archer in every which way on ST...maybe even off the roster.
Eagles waived RB Raheem Mostert.
The Eagles would undoubtedly like to stash Mostert on their practice squad, but the rookie will have to pass through waivers first. After he tore up the preseason with 351 total yards, that is not a foregone conclusion.

And here is another RB candidate...he was with us a few years ago, seemed to be pretty capable with the Packers...not sure what's happened since then...

Holy ******* ****! They cut Mosert? I would drop Dri Archer today for that kid. he has 3 return TDs this pre season, one being a 90+yd punt return! He's electric with the ball in his hands. He runs with speed, power and lean. Seriously?? Wow. The Eagles are thick at RB and QB. Mosert could start as our KR/PR against the Pats. Sign him, he's better than Archer and Harris combined!!
Anyone remember when we cut Stephan Logan, then he went on to have a nice career down in Detroit? why is it we didn't want the small guy playing when the guy had moves, but when we get the tiny vanilla guy with no vision, we want him to touch the ball 5 times a game...
