Wanted to set up a thread for the ongoing (D)im debates. Did not see much of the last one, saving 3 hours of my life, but I was able to catch a few highlights. Question of the day:

Q. Name three things not shown during the (D)im debate, round 3.

A. An American flag, a Native American, and a viable candidate.

I can't watch insanity. I just can't. Politics is a dirty enough game, but insane people and insane ideas and you compound that, that's ******* depressing.

The problem with insane people on stage is they can project crazy to normal people looking for solutions. The mental health of the left is about as low as I've seen it, and that's a little dangerous.


I don't see one great Democratic hope on that stage. No one close to Bill Clinton or Obama. Warren would be torn apart on a stage vs. Trump. . Biden is old, confused and slow with too much baggage. Bernie remains crazy, and now his health is an issue. Beto...stay in the race please for comedic relief. Klobuchar might the best of the bunch, only because she's normal, but her chances of rising in a field that favors socialism over capitalism are pretty slim. These debates actually help Trump. Let the voters see and hear how crazy they are. Moderates won't embrace them.

Hell I almost want Haley to run on her own now. If not now the next election for sure. She would have been my choice in 2016 for VP. Tulsi is by far the most tolerable of all the Dems. More along the lines of what they used to be. Would not take much tweaking to make her a moderate Republican.

She is exactly like somebody we all know and have worked with, and viscerally hate: Happy to take on the cushiest assignments, happy to sit in the wagon while others pull, happy to glad-hand and suck dicks to get ahead, but somebody who never actually does anything and certainly never takes on the hard jobs.

Okay, other than THOSE hard jobs.

Because Harris embodies every character trait people who work for a living hate. She is like the boss' son-in-law, who does not know a ******* thing about the business, but is put in charge as a supervisor, does not do any work, while freely criticizing those who actually produce, when he finds the time to do so in between his very full vacation schedule and 2-hour lunches.
