Again, Tomlins schemes are reliant on exceptional players playing exceptionally…. Go back to yesterday … the jets were down to like a fifth string LT and bleeding Olinemen like there was no tomorrow… we almost always sent 4 or fewer rushers on passing downs… always two dlinemen and mostly just the two outside lbs…

This lack of foresight coming from a respected professional at the pinnacle of the sport has always been amazing to me, because even at the most rudimentary levels of football, understanding your opposition is the key to gaining competitive advantage.

The one thing about Tomlin teams is they tend to win the games they aren’t supposed to… I would not be surprised if we go 3-1 through this stretch and are at 500 for the bye week.. this year the league is complete parity, and maybe parody depending on what flawed teams make the playoffs… lol
