Day Three - Draft

I hate to say it but the Panthers are looking real good on the WR corp now...the big TE from Texas is a great addition as well.

TE may not be a need but Theo Johnson or Cade Stover would be good value in rd 4. Would allow Freiermuth to be used more as a big WR. Theo Johnson is versatile and line up in the backfield a lot at Penn State. That's something Smith has in his offense.

They signed Pruitt for depth but with Smith using so many 2 TE sets, maybe they will look TE just for the value if there's no DB or DT that they like when they're on the clock.

Still waiting for a name to be called that I think is better than Payton Wilson ...

Good website for depth charts. They appear to be updating on the fly as the draft goes. You can flip from team to team with the Teams dropdown in the upper right.

Apparently, TJ Tampa is falling because of his mediocre RAS score (6.31)...do we take a chance on him???

Steelers sent everybody to Clemson pro day. I think it was mostly to see Ruke but could they also like their other DT Tyler Davis?

I would hope that C.J. Stroud's low scores last year that had people sure he would bomb as a player on the field should help with this argument. I would say the upside at this point is greater than the risk.

Stroud's low score was on a new cognitive test. RAS is a score based on athletic testing. So if you have a low RAS it means you ran slow, didn't jump well, etc.
