I don't know if this has anything to do with political ideology but, the lesson here is. Don't fukk with restaurant workers. They have a pent-up rage boiling underneath the surface of which most people are unaware. I know, I used to be one.

I'm inclined to think it doesn't have anything to do with political ideology. I think expecting customers to stay on their side of the counter and not threaten workers might be the only things both sides of the political spectrum would agree on.
