Had we not traded dj who is playing corner opposite JPJ? We clearly won on that deal, thus not really a mistake imo as we have the best corner tandem we’ve had in a long time.I'd argue DJ instantly becomes their best WR. We all know how dangerous he can be, and Lamar will be the best QB he's had in years.
He was disgruntled with the QB position with the Steelers, but so was Pickens who seems like a completely different teammate and player since Wilson took over.
The Steelers trading DJ without a concrete plan to replace him was a big mistake, and it's now biting them even harder with him ending up with the Ravens.
Have solid boundaries allows the D to do some things you can’t when worried about one side .
The upgrade at CB far outweighs the departure of dj especially considering the run based format currently deployed.
