Dionte Johnson....TRADED.....

They are getting almost nothing for him and they're still paying him. Would have been better off letting him leave and get a comp pick for him. This deal for DJ seems like Carolina just wanted him out.

Or they could just be completely incompetent. Omar should find out. Call them about Jaycee Horn or anybody else they may give away for nothing.

Roman Wilson is currently on the Senquez Golson career path, a path he needs to exit from.

The current offense doesn’t even call for many 4 WR sets, so if Roman is going to surpass the likes of VJ and CA3 it’s going to require him practicing/working AND proving to be a better option. With Russ spreading the ball around more all the sudden the potential in WR2 and WR3 is starting to show.

He’s likely redshirting this year and better show well early next year to see the field. Kid simply needs to get himself healthy.

“Roman ******* Wilson? What’s with all the shade thrown on this kid that is injured, hasn’t even played a down for us?
Making it sound like he’s faking his injuries or doesn’t want to play? Or Soft?
Man oh Man.
No shade thrown. IR for a rookie 4th rounder that has done zero is not a good sign. Something has been off with him since training camp. He had 1 year of decent college production at Michigan. A team that was stealing signals and cheating.
We have no idea if he is NFL caliber and will have to wait to find out.
Like him or not DJ left a glaring hole on the depth chart. Kahn is looking more desperate by the day to fill that hole.

Doesn’t sound like that to me. Sounds like someone getting tired of stupid questions, about a player who is injured.
Basically he isn't able to work due to injury

how much did CA do his rookie year? and I think he was a 3rd

He was a 4th but the same situation applies. Both couldn't see the field due to injuries

Tomlin doesn't say anything by mistake. He could have very easily said Roman is injured so we put him on IR, next question. But he didn't. Instead he very specifically said he had to work. The implication is he has not been working. Then he added, I've moved on at the end. That sounds like a call out to me.

Imagine if you worked with a friend of yours and he was out for months on paternity leave, an excused absence. When the boss was asked about the status of your friend in a meeting he said "he's been out a long time. He needs to work for me to consider him. I've moved on."

So then your friend asks you if the boss said anything about him and if he's OK with him being out so long. Would you tell your friend, yeah, stay out a few more weeks, it's fine, or would you tell him he better get his *** back to work asap?

Get himself healthy and K-E-E-P himself healthy weather by working hard or by shear luck, both will be needed.

Tomlin was making a repeated statement of “if you can’t practice, you won’t play”, nothing more & nothing less.

Salute the nation

Calvin Austin is not DJ either. atleast not yet. Whats you're point?
my point is you cant write Roman off due to injury his rookie year.

CA3 runs forward not backwards, a non disruptive teammate and is fast, he’s certainly no DJ. His ceiling is higher imo. Not there yet, but would much rather have CA3.
