Divisonal round games

Give me some feedback on this. Allen obviously took option A. Do you...

A. Score a TD when you get it, as Allen was trying to do here.
B. Take the short pass, try to milk the clock with a potential TD, FG, or missed FG being on the table.

That I feel is his critical weakness. He doesn’t take what the D gives when it’s a tight game…,,

It's hard not to feel horrible for the kicker.
Nah ....... the dude makes over 5 million a year to play about 10 plays a game ....kicking a ball around ..... he should be laughing at all the others on the field busting their ***** and getting the crap knocked out of each other in arctic weather or extreme heat down south............ but I hear your point

I thought it was a good read after seeing the replay, he just got hit as he threw it. He was throwing him open. Sure the underneath is open, but he has never won a game that went into overtime. I'm playing to win the game.

Noticed that too, he didn't take the open receivers in the short/middle.

Option A didn't seem so available, so is it really an option?

Has he ever played in AFCCG?

I think KC and Mahomes is in Allen’s head… until he gets that Monkey off his back, like Brady in Steelers heads yrs before, he will continue to fall short…..

I'll take Baltimore over the Kansas City Swifts. Then they get beat by the Niners.

Had about enough of Mahomie Kelce and Taylor.

Detroit hopefully, if not I’ll take the Ravens…I respect anyone that still plays D like the ravens do… hate me if you must🤷🏼‍♂️

Allen kept trying to overfeed Diggs and they were predictable on 1st down. Toward the end the had a crossing route but Allen had to force feed it into the end zone. I think they beat themselves...
Leaving time on the clock for KC gave Buffalo a huge defeat a couple years back...
You would think that they would try to use high percentage plays to move down the field and eat clock ....
Diggs was wide open on the 2nd down series and on the 3rd down series I counted 3 wide open receivers
completing either of those options would likely have turned into a 1st down or at least gained significant yardage to make the FG attempt a better opportunity for success...

Sean McDermott .... is one of those coaches much like Andy Reid used to be ....... always making one huge questionable call in a big game .... and coming up just short

He says you don't even want/need a TD? You need a TD to win. He says they should play for a FG but they lost on a missed FG.

Allen had a guy wide open. He only missed because his lineman got push into him and he couldn't follow through. If that OL hold his block a split second longer, that's a TD.

If they had a 50 yard FG, he'd have a point about trying to get a few more yards underneath. But they had a 44 yard FG. That should be considered a gimmie for an NFL kicker. He didn't miss because of the distance. He missed because of the pressure. I don't think 4 more yards would have changed that.

So you like Coach Tomlin better in that situation???

I do.

A clear example of why you need a great OL. It gives you time. Time is gold and it's a killer. If you have a qb worth a damn.
