Divisonal round games

I thought it was a good read after seeing the replay, he just got hit as he threw it. He was throwing him open. Sure the underneath is open, but he has never won a game that went into overtime. I'm playing to win the game.

There is also some forethought in trying to rip one there. First, the Bills are a classic outside passing game offense. THAT is what they do. This works okay (until it didn't in the middle of the season this year) with Diggs & Davis being able to stretch the coverage while Shakir is slippery and has some wiggle. Still, they do not do the crossing in routes and mirrors very well. This means, like the Steelers O, it is much easier for the Bills to score a TD from the 25/30 than it is from the 10 because you have so many more bodies in such a confined space that the outside game is rendered useless.

Bills were playing to score a TD right then, leave it up to their D, and not risk trying to grind down inside the 10 and then NOT score a TD/ throw a bad pick/ or otherwise have problems running/fumbling it. See the earlier Chiefs out of the end zone debacle.

Allen saw his guy opening on both plays, that is why he took the shot. i thought it was a bad decision but...

So you like Coach Tomlin better in that situation???

I do.
Tomlin still struggles with clock management .... and our team lacks an offensive scheme that can create high percentage plays consistently when the chips are down....
Andy Reid struggled with the clock and a poor decision in a big game that left him a bridesmaid for quite some time... he figured it out and climbed to the top of the mountain..

Lots of decent coaches like Marty Shottenheimer, Sean McDermott to name a couple have been successful but they always seem to have that one moment in a big game where either the clock management or timeouts played a major role .... Going for it on fourth down with high risk/ little rewqrd to play themselves out of a game ...

Dan Campbell worries me still.... Detroit has a good team.... and I fear that Campbell is going to make that crucial aggressive call too early in a significant game and squash Detroit's chances to go all the way .... it just seems like a growth process for each coach to become that strong guiding force in the face of adversity

it sucks to see QBs or coach;s decisions steal an opportunity .... Jordan Love decision to throw across the field for an INT when he could have just thrown it away
Baker Mayfield's INT .... it is a cerebral game .... and knowing the situational aspect in the final minutes of what you need to do is crucial

I think KC has better chance of beating Baltimore

Jackson is a problem. He's accurate and can break you with his legs too. Can't wait to see what Spag has for him

Detroit can beat SF and Purdy no question. Will Samuel be ready to go? KC is going to have a very difficult time with Baltimore I don't see ravens making it easy on them like Allen did.

Ravens game manager QB right Tape? Let's hear it again sir

Disagree KC is an underdog again and Mahomes is great when not favored to win

Allen played lights out all day with no help from his star WR, Kicker or his coaching staff. I feel bad for the guy but I will say He played the game of his life right up until the end, driving at the end of the 4th quarter with a chance to close it out with a TD, Allen just couldn't get it done, once again. They had em dead to rights.
Glad not to be a Buffalo fan.

Buffalo shouldn't have even been in the game. That fumble at goal line turned into a turnover. It's nonsense. Allen at the end is a huge fail throwing balls into the end zone. He's in charge of the offense and he made wrong decisions

The refs will have their hands full next week because you know the league wants Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl.

They definately shouldn't have tried that ridiculous Damar Hamlin fake. That should be a fireable offense. That and playing for the tie with a questionable kicker in windy conditions against Mahommes in overtime. Get some balls and go win it. Now the Mcdermott/ Tomlin ties make alot more sense.

They could have had a lot closer FG try had Allen not gunned for the end zone 2x. Underneath was WIDE open to get into suitable FG range….everyone compares him to Ben and in a lot of ways yes BUT I believe Ben has something he may never have: SB wins. I believe due to his “tight game play” he may continue to fall short…. Romoesque per say

Can't wait to see the game plans. Jackson and Mahomes- are the two best QB, both incomplete control of their O, both can improvise and extend plays, Jackson makes great calls at the line and toys with the D to get guys open or create a running lane for himself. The 15 yard TD run he had against Houston was the result of him staring right as if he was throwing that way as soon as 48 broke in anticipation Jackson took off and ran in for a score. This is why he is MVP

Mahomes doesn't need an intro but seem people seem to think Jackson is a system QB game manager
