Doesn't have one what? I said to go look at DK's IG because it shows his full name in his bio, same with his X account and his facebook. The point being, he's not trying to hide his full name, he isn't ashamed of his full name, in fact he's said in the past the only reason he goes by DK is it's shorter and easier for other people to say. So the fan claiming that is ALL he said is full of ****...Am I saying that it's clear evidence that he used a racial slur? Nope, but it's a he said, he said situation and there is no audio proof to prove either one of them is right...and both were wrong

This whole situation is ridiculous... who hires an attorney that fast? And how is he going to weasel around the video of him celebrating the reaction and saying "that's what I wanted" or the fact that his own FAMILY has come out and said that he had been talking about this game, and this scenario for MONTHS. Add in the previous incident in which DK reported him, and this whole mess stinks...

How about you look at this less selfishly.

You are COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that some people can be triggered by racial slurs when backed into a corner. That goes for all creeds I'll have you remember.

This crap isn't about football. It's about a PLANNED MONEY GRAB. Period the end.

If I was DeKaylin Metcalf - I'm counter suing the fan and the NFL... he may not recoup all of the missed monies from these 2 weeks but that fan will be broke and begging on the corner.

Do you think he used racial slurs?

He stated he hasn't used any in 15 years as Lion season ticket holder. I would think someone would be able to refute that if he had.

Fact is...DK put himself into that situation.... himself. He has no one to blame but himself. Period. Even if the man spewed every hatred evil racial slur thinkable.

If the man did say racial slurs then DK should have just walked away and notified security. DK is/was the one that had something to lose.

And really though...if DK has had issues with this man in the past why even engage with him.....yet go out of your way to walk over to engage with him. Self control is sometimes very important as an adult.

As an adult. Is this what one should show ones children when faced with racism when slurs are used? Use violence?

I already stated DK has to own his part in the situation. Have to resist lashing out..

But I damn sure do not believe that POS fan claiming pretty much innocence. I believe he at least said something about his mom. He is backtracking because he is a season ticket holder and he received some flack for his actions.

I bet he wouldn’t submit to a lie detector test. I know they can’t be used in court but in this situation in the public court of opinion he could clear his name.

He rather front a didn’t do nuttin defense.

Let me circle back, in case you missed it, I absolutely think DK deserves 'some punishment' for his actions - he is a player in the NFL and role model to some youngsters; but...

Society has taught, everyone after the Baby Boomer generation, that "losing is ok", "don't keep things inside - say what you want/ when you want or you will turn into an angry person"...blah, blah, blah, blah. At what point do we teach ourselves - "enough is enough"??? Stand up for yourself.

Everyone walks on eggshells because they don't want to be canceled - supporting each and every cause that is the new thing but everyone is human. We're all sinners and no one is perfect. Yes, DK made a mistake. The ignorant fan made (multiple) mistakes. The NFL and Lions organizations made the mistake of allowing the fan in the stadium.

Did he use inflammatory/derogatory language to incite a reaction from DK??? Only God and both men know; but ask yourself - the claim of simply calling DK by his government name, when he publishes it on his social media account for the world to see - well, good sir, "something in that milk ain't clean".

Let's close with this - the fan obviously had other actors in his plan and an ambulance chasing attorney on speed dial. Was this all a planned attack to get a reaction for a pay day??? Yes it was.

I am not saying the guy did or didn't say anything inappropriate. DK is the one who had something to lose though. Not the fan. Why even go near the area the fan was located to give the fan a platform? and after DK did venture into the fan's zone and if the fan did happen to say slurs....simply walk away. Mistake # one by DK. Walking into the area of the fan. Mistake # 2.... verbally engaging with the fan. Mistake #3.... If fan did say slurs...not calling security. Mistake #4.....physically touching the fan.

If the fan said the slurs agreed. I have gone to numerous games with my kids when they were youger. Plenty of fans spewing vulgar works. not racial slurs, but words I particularly didn't care for my young kids to hear. These were drunk people. The ones that were near by I engaged verbally to please stop it with the vugar words. Sometimes they did stop...other times they didn't. Now I left it at that. I didn't physically engage with them. I wouldn't put myself in a position where I might get hurt or arrested in front of my children. Others might have taken a different approach. I had more to lose at that moment with my children with me than the drunks at a football game. I used self contoll.

Why he even walked over to that fans area is mind boggling to begin with. I taught my kids self controll...or so I hope I have. My oldest son made a statement to me one time that if he reacts to a racial slur negatively then the person who said it wins. beats him. He simply smiles and show them it means nothing to him. As a father....I can't ask more from my son. I was proud of him. I have always tried to tell my kids that there is racism out there. Try never to play the victim from it though. Rise above it. Even if it might be hard at times.
 
All I am saying is...you can't controll another persons action....but you can controll your own actions. DK failed in that area and it probably will cost him a few $$$$$ now.

Sure the whole situation matters.

DK paid the penalty for swiping at a fan.

Steelers don’t get to use his services.

The POS fan’s life has taken heat rightfully so .

In the end we have no idea if anyone is playing the victim, but by that fans reaction I would say DK wasn’t playing the victim. He just let his temper get the best of him. A lesson he will have to learn.

The fan is learning another life lesson poke the bear and eventually the bear pokes back.

The racial slur lie was exposed by video and by DK's backpedaling after.

It didn't happen last week, silly, it happened last year and we conveniently have no video evidence. DK committed both assault and libel but people are defending him because of the jersey he wears, just like Browns fans still defend Garrett for the same.
