Dk punches a fan

It's VERY BOLD to openly call this claim a lie based on the distance of the recording devices. I won't do the research for you but Google is your friend - the mic on cell phone is OK up to 15 feet. This does not account for all of the background noises that need to be filtered out. Unless you have footage with a directional microphone - I'd retract the claim of it being a lie.

NOTE - try to find footage (with audio) on the Garrett helmet strike on Rudy. You will not find it on the regular internet...

Give it up, DK's mouthpiece (Deebo) already backpedaled and said it allegedly happened last year. The Detroit Free Press interviewed everyone around him, including the black security guard right behind him, none of them corroborated DK's claims.

DK opened himself of for a libel/slander suit.

I am just saying some people lie to cover up for their actions....not saying DK is or isn't lying. I think we all believe that Garret was lying.

Fans heckle players and vice versa every week. Why is DK the only one with a "tipping point". Most players laugh it off and give it back to them if they win.

In the end we have no idea if anyone is playing the victim, but by that fans reaction I would say DK wasn’t playing the victim. He just let his temper get the best of him. A lesson he will have to learn.

The fan is learning another life lesson poke the bear and eventually the bear pokes back.

I could careless if the fan is playing victim or if DK is. I am simply saying DK created the situation that he found himself in.....that entire fiasco DK made multiple mistakes....where at multiple spots he simply could have walked away. In the end he desided to keep it real and threw a punch at a fan.

DK deserves some punishment for not controlling himself. That said this clown obviously did something to provoke this intentionally. DK shouldn't have let it work but regardless this fan planned this by his own words. That alone should be enough for a lifetime ban in all stadiums and NFL events. He should also be sued for this being an intentional act.

That one is going to cost him at least an apology, which he should do. The quicker he makes this go away,the better off he will be.

Just chalk it up as a painfully expensive life lesson in self restraint.

Don't feed the animals in the stands!

I've explained root cause solution already. If you missed it:

1. Create your problem statement
2. Keep asking "why" until you can't anymore (usually 5 why's) - that's your root cause.

Now, knowing what you know, what was the root cause of this problem???

A fan saying possible slurs to DK. I am not defending the fan. Simply that DK made several mistakes. The first one was walking over to the fan that he has had issues with in the past. Why? What good was going to come from it?

I don't care if he is banned or isn't. If he said slurs sure. DK in my opinion got lucky. Lucky his punch didn't land and also the fan didn't fall down from the stands. Who knows where would have led. Maybe if the fan did fall ...security might have finally have decided to do something.

Yep. I agree. To think DK is the 1st player to get heckled or even slurred at is laughable.....unfortunately the athlete has to be the bigger person. DK wasn’t this time and got suspended. Again. If DK simply would have avoided walking over to this fan(because of past issues)we wouldn't be talking about the issue. Huge fail on DK's part.

If a-hole NFL fans are going to be banned, gonna be a lot of empty seats around the league, esp in Heinz.

DK is a dumba$$, no win situation for him. Now it could cost him 40-50 million dollars what a lesson to learn now that he should have been taught years ago, By parents, coaches, friends , agents ect.

First off......when was it established he used a racial slur. The video certainly did not support that. Secondly, he has a swath of at least 25 yards with which to completely ignore this idiot. Thirdly, report his *** to security and you might get him banned forever.
 
I find both sides of the racial slur argument equally impossible. On the one side is DK Metcalf that mentally fragile that he woukd snap by someone using his birth name? Well I do find myself yelling at the TV walk away DK everytime he gets into a conflict on the field like he was one of my JV guys. On the other would someone yell racist slurs where even a lions fan could have been offended and reported him with video evidence. However, dude looks like a total idiot. I know this. He was suspended, he lost the appeal. The only video supports the idiot. And my guess is DK will settle out of court. Certainly on the assault. The defamation will hinge on whether he actually said he yelled racist slurs or Ochcinco, Deborah assumed the guy did.

I agree with everything you posted. Which is why I cast blame on all parties especially the NFL for ignoring DKs first two complaints...

Not genius. Just figured that someone would disparage his mom (parents) for not raising him to avoid conflict.

Which brings into to question your views on parenthood. How do you know what he was taught at home? DK is a grown man - no longer in need of his mom's tit. IMO that statement brings no value because it is speculation...
