Why would the Lions re-sign Pettigrew, then take Ebron here? I know you go after talent before filling holes, but they also have a young red zone TE in Joseph Fauria.

Their physical skills alone make them first rounders. I really have no issues with Gilbert - would have been happy with him. I know he cant tackle for **** but he can cover very well and we need that. I have concerns about Ebron but they are a more about his work ethic over anything else.
