Draft Thread Rounds 2 and 3

You can hate the pick, and you have stated as such with just about anything they have done this year... but damn dude, the AMOUNT of hate and negativity is going to effect your health...just looking out for your long term.

You're also not even giving the new staff a chance to do what they were hired to do, which is coach these kids up. You said it in your last sentence, Tomlin and his staff is gone...It's all fresh and new this year
My health? LOL. I think it was stupid. If he turns into that guy, I will come on here and say I was wrong. I hope he's great, I'm a Steelers fan. It was early with all those 3's. Maybe they flinched because of what happened in round one. He would have made it to this pick. Time will tell.

When the lady went to call the browns pick it was like no one gave a flying **** haahahahaj

Everette is a solid pick. He has all the tools and played in the SEC. Makes me think Ramsey is on his way out the door.

I know they gotta support the team but I never understood the face painters....

This team isn't going anywhere until they get a QB. I'm also cool with them taking chances.
So true. McCarthy may or may not be the coach to lead us back to greatness, but he knows how to develop a QB so if he thinks there’s somehting there with Aller that’s enough for me to burn a mid round pick on

It doesn’t stop them from drafting a QB in round one next year, it doesn’t stop them from going with Howard

Not a lot of upside to get excited about, but it's a position of need (he might be able to play deep safety) and a traditional SEC long-term starter.

Those guys get drafted all the time and most end up being solid backups for rookie contracts but never good enough to justify that big jump in salary as a 2nd contract guy. Free agency is full of guys like Everette every year.

But I like the athleticism and he will contribute on special teams.

I think the plan is to have Everette develop a year, probably focus on special teams and some spot duty. You can never have enough good DBs, so accumulating depth is a good thing.
