Draft Thread Rounds 2 and 3

Not a lot of upside to get excited about, but it's a position of need (he might be able to play deep safety) and a traditional SEC long-term starter.

Those guys get drafted all the time and most end up being solid backups for rookie contracts but never good enough to justify that big jump in salary as a 2nd contract guy. Free agency is full of guys like Everette every year.

But I like the athleticism and he will contribute on special teams.
Is that "Debbie Downer" in your picture?

Wow, why? So stiff. He is not good in man coverage. Zone corner. I don't think the new DC plays a lot of zone. Omar is 2-2 in round 3 reaches. Still need G,DL, S. We take DB 5 with a 3rd pick.

We certainly have room on the roster for big, athletic DB's that can play special teams and have a bit more upside than the plethora of undrafted guys we currently have.

I think this is a great draft. When you're a perennial SB contender, with absolutely zero weaknesses, you have the ability to pick 'projects'. Not once mind you, but literally every single round.

If Rooney wasn't such a lame duck ***** Khan would be fired by sunrise

Who is this monotone lady? She sounds like the announcer over the PA system in high school. Zero energy.
They're just grabbing people and throwing them out there now. lol
