Election Day 2024 Harris vs Trump

The reasons the Dims have for getting rid of the electoral college are exactly the reasons why we have the electoral college.
Regardless, you would need a Constitutional amendment to eliminate it and 2/3 of the states are not going to ratify an amendment that would remove their say in Presidential elections.
Double genius...they thought that up too!

According to the United States Constitution, specifically Article V, a two-thirds vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate is required to propose an amendment; meaning, the framers of the Constitution effectively wrote this provision.

Trump's BS sentencing is scheduled for later this month. They put Bannon in jail for nothing. The ***** is on record saying that she would force the seizure of guns. Where the hell have you been the last four years? Besides hoarding Steeltime's $50.
Bannon is out of jail and did not die there. He spent 4 months for ignoring a subpoena. Putting Trump in jail would be a logistical nightmare and risk the safety of everyone involved. I do not see it happening or ever happening. As far as gun seizure in case you didn't know politicians lie. Kamala lies, Trump lies, they all lie. Kamala also said she is a gun owner and believes in the 2nd amendment. A mass seizure would never happen. Worst case would be a ban on certain things like full auto , hell fire triggers, high capacity mags, etc etc.... People who already own that stuff would be grandfatherd in. There is no way they are going door to door on every single house and fully search every house that is just ridiculous to even think.

Not just being tired of being told what to do. Also tired of all the labels and -isms when we don’t agree with them.

They call us racist, uneducated, toxic masculine this, close minded that. It’s annoying.
They've been doing it for a long, long time. I think most people have finally had enough.

A direct quote from 2019:

Harris has supported gun buybacks and other measures

Harris addressed gun buybacks several times during the 2019 campaign.

During an October 2019 gun control forum in Las Vegas, Harris joined two primary rivals in supporting the mandatory buyback of assault weapons.

"We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory gun buyback program," Harris said.

West Virginia too, I think...
Amazing how much the political landscape has changed in WV during my lifetime. It was dark blue and then the Dems totally destroyed coal even after the industry came so far with scrubbers, etc...It's also affected SW VA substantially as well. The railyards going through Roanoke which was a huge rail town are now practically empty. Norfolk Southern (formerly N&W) has pulled just about everything out of Roanoke. High paying trades jobs, gone ...Yet Roanoke City residents keep voting Democrat. I totally don't understand why. My guess is most voters there are Chardonnay Socialists.

They killed coal long ago and I'm sitting on the deck in shorts in November. Maybe the solar panels and wind turbines are to blame.

Also, Zona, Lake is getting over 50% of the newest votes in Maricopa County.

It is going to be damn close but at this point with Lake down 44,000 votes, but 36% of Yavapai left to count, along with 58% in Cochise, 40% in Yuma, and some favorable areas in Maricopa, the numbers look pretty good. She has to win at least 52% of the remaining Maricopa vote, with about 500,000 ballots yet to count. She can make up the other 25,000 votes in Yavapai, Yuma and Cochise.

P.S. I still miss Arizona. What an incredible state.
Navajo just dropped, 57% Lake, 40% Socialist, lead is under 2% now. Apparently, there's still 780,000 votes out there and I'm starting to feel more optimistic.

Kentucky has to at least make Honorable Mention? I was watching the early returns and thinking "I think I could live there" lol.

What must Mitt Romney be thinking right now? Or Pierre Dilecto?

Trump showed the hapless RINOs how to win.

"I've got a Gucci store worth more than Mitt Romney.."

Arizona Senate update:

Lake within 36,800 votes. 78% of vote counted.

Yavapai County still has 31% to count, Maricopa 22.5%, and Pima 24%. The problem for Lake is Pima, which is skewing heavily towards Gallego and still has about 130,000 votes left to count. Maricopa has about 363,000 votes left to count and Yavapai about 33,000. Also about 15,000 votes left in Yuma, where Lake is getting almost 60% of the vote.

It is going to be C-L-O-S-E. Lake looks to gain about 11,000 votes in Yavapai, 3,000 in Yuma, but lose about 42,500 in Pima. That means she has to gain basically 26,000 votes in Maricopa (the other uncounted votes come mainly from very heavily (R) areas), meaning she has to get about 54% of the Maricopa vote. Tough get but doable.

Update to the update:

Most recent numbers indicate Lake is getting much higher percentages in Counties from most recent counts. Could be a factor related to election-day voting, where Lake hammered Gallego. Examples:

Even Pima:

Every drop is favoring Lake 55-60% to 35-40%.
The margin has dropped from 7% on election night to close to 1% now..
78% of the vote counted, using all 10 fingers and toes.
