Election Day 2024 Harris vs Trump

They've been doing it for a long, long time. I think most people have finally had enough.
Of course. Look at the discourse of many of us here.
I’ve been a member of this forum since 2015 and we were being ridiculed even worse.

Democrats wonder why young men especially latinos and blacks voted for Trump, well the democrats shunned and shamed them.

The Dims keep thinking that their messaging isn't right. No, I think everyone understands them perfectly.
Latino and black male culture is more macho than white male culture, about 30% of whom are latte sipping soy boys.
Boys playing in girls' sports, transgender bull****, LBDTHGDF, EV's, all that stuff is a non-starter with Latino and black men.

I was in Louisville, lessee, 14 years ago for an event with my truck club. Got a tour of Ford's Louisville assembly plant.
I'm pretty sure we were the only white people in the city.
The outer rings to the Northeast are very nice suburbs

They had to pay the all mighty Oprah a million bucks for that pep rally/infomercial..... :ROFLMAO:

If I was a serious Dem donator I would be pushing for investigations into where the money went and why.

These people spent a Billion dollars in a couple months and got NOWHERE......

Trump spent a third of that over a much longer period of time and kicked their ***** lol.
It's just like all the money for Ukraine.

How much went to the Big Guy and his retirement fund?

We will never know.

Little known fact. Country Roads was not written about WV.

It was written by a song writer (not John Denver) who used to travel to DC from PA on a back road and he came up with the jingle. He gave it to John Denver to sing, but they just couldn't figure out what to put in after "To the place, I belong, ____ ________" in the lyrics. It had to be 4 syllables.

Massachusetts was being considered before they eventually decided on West Virginia.

Country Roads was named about a country road in Maryland.

I grew up in WV from ages 2-17.

I now live in a home (for 22 years) exactly 5 miles from Clopper Road here in MD - the road that inspired the song. I'm on that road for one reason or another 3-4 times a week.

Random? Do you live near Gaithersburg?

But Pennsylvania has four syllables? And it was part of the journey.

Not working for me....

Almost Heaven,
Pennsylvania,
Philly Murders,
Steel Mills All Shut Down There...

I'm sure they could have come up with other words to fit the jingle, but Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River and every other call out for the beautiful state were perfect.

My humble opinion.

Now go Yinzers!

Wait a sec... Pennsylvania would have fit perfectly, it is 4 syllables as well..... "to the place, I belong, Penn-syl-vain-ya....(misspelled to emphasize pronunciation)
The beginning of the song as well...."Almost heaven, Penn - syl - vain - ya".

I think West Virginia works better because it sounds "country". I don't think of "country" when I hear "Pennsylvania"....even though there's plenty of beautiful country in it.

Latinos and blacks don’t make it a forefront

I can speak from being part Latino. One of our biggest draws is family. We want to raise children in good environments. The trans stuff was a big issue which more than likely swayed that vote.

So you're saying Latinos don't want boys on their daughters' sports teams and in their locker rooms?

This is also a direct quote "This business about taking everyone's guns away, Tim Walz and I are both gun owners," Harris said on Tuesday night. "We're not taking any of these guns away. So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff." She is also for fracking and against fracking. Mexico is paying for a wall, Trump is fixing Israel the day he is elected, Trump is fixing Russia/ Ukraine etc etc ........Believing in something, getting support for something, and actually making it happen are all different things. No matter how bad the country is or who the president is we are at very very long way off from search and seizure of guns

Harris's words never matched her record... Harris was VP because she was super liberal far left. Biden was a vanilla politician who never could draw the far left...

Running for president, they tried to move Harris toward the center with lies and acts... thats why she picked a super left wing nutcase like Walz... to keep the wokies engaged while she faked a centric position on everything

Her stance on gun would have been what she has said for the past 7 years..
