The FBI did not corroborate the CIA’s claim that Russia had a hand in the election of President-elect Donald Trump in a meeting with lawmakers last week.

A senior FBI counterintelligence official met with Republican and Democrat members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in order to give the bureau’s view of a recent CIA report. The official did not concur with the CIA, frustrating Democrats.

Center for Security Policy Executive Vice President Jim Hanson disputes claims that Russian hackers influenced the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

A deeply skeptical Hanson said there was “not a bit” of evidence Russia had anything to do with the election results. Your assuming the FBI knows everything the CIA knows at this point.

I know that the FBI has the responsibility for counter espionage and the expertise in that area. I know that the CIA is an agency that is about 2/3 feather bedded bureaucrats that stands to lose a whole lot if they get a chief executive that is interested in results and competence and knows that they are weighed down by both their reliance on electronic/satellite intelligence and lack of quality people in the field because they have too many mid level management types. Like most of the DC establishment the CIA is running scared.

Consider that Russia is a communist/socialist nation. Putin is a former communist KGB officer. Now which American political party is more closely aligned with the interests of the Communist party? Which party has been in control of the White House for 8 years and what has their agenda been? How much has America experienced a "fundamental transformation" over the last 8 years? Which candidate was going to continue that Progressive transformation toward socialism? The supporters of which party want to alter our Constitution and move away from an electoral college vote to a popular vote?

Now ask yourself, who would be most interested in stopping that fundamental transformation away from our Constitutional principles? Would it be the former communists of Russia or those in America who wanted to protect their nation from continuing down the path that Progressives had us on? I would suggest to you that it is just as possible that it was people within the CIA or NSA or FBI or any of the other security branches of our government who hacked those DNC computers with the objective of stopping a Hillary Clinton presidency. They sure as hell were in possession of Russian "fingerprints", that is, it would have been no trouble for them to make it APPEAR that the Russians were the hackers. And that would certainly explain how the "Russians" came to be so inept as to leave their fingerprints behind.

So, Trump may, indeed, have gotten help getting elected. Not from the Russians but from Americans who no longer wanted to see the United States taken down the path of destruction. Americans who wanted to see America first, America great again. And what is the "help" that was delivered? Not hacked voting machines, not "fake news" but rather the revelation of the Truth behind the lies. Essentially they said: "America, Donald Trump may not be the man you want, but here is the truth about Hillary Clinton and the people behind her." And, therefore, it was not the Russians but the TRUTH that led to the election of Donald Trump.

That is true...to an extent. Russia is semi communist do to the Russian communist faction (Russian communist party) which has nearly half of the power in the Russian government. Officially the Country is a capitalist Democracy but the Russian government and is gaining more and more power do to political problems and economic collapse. ( 1 Russian ruble now is equal to .0007US ) We here in our our little representative Republic also tend to confuse Communism and Socialism, not to mention Obama's version of Marxism.

Comey to Trump: The Russians Didn’t Influence the Election

In telephone conversations with Donald Trump, FBI Director James Comey assured the president-elect there was no credible evidence that Russia influenced the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election by hacking the Democratic National Committee and the e-mails of John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

What’s more, Comey told Trump that James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, agreed with this FBI assessment.

The only member of the U.S. intelligence community who was ready to assert that the Russians sanctioned the hacking was John Brennan, the director of the CIA, according to sources who were briefed on Comey’s conversations with Trump.
