I know that there are quite a few members on here that are tuned into their State's fiscal responsibility and are either business owners, business managers or just people who like to see how their Governors are stacking up against the other States.

This report is quite comprehensive and a little lengthy but there are a couple spread sheets for those of us that no longer have the need to test our mental capacity.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is the lowest ranked . ******* idiots who voted him in. ******* idiots.

He's a ********. Luckily we have a Republican legislature that mostly stops him.

so very surprising that so many of the lower scored have a (D) next to their name.....

Actually, I was surprised to see the amount of 'Ds' in the top tier as well. There weren't many but there is a smathering, but you are right Coolie...the D's do seem to settle to the bottom don't they ?

Well, the report IS based on taxation and spending and balancing budgets, which the Democrats have never advocated or run on. And people still vote for them.

Pennsylvania's flat tax code is kind of antiquated and should be reformed but it amazes my how liberals say they are for the poor and middle class yet LOVE to tax cigarettes and gasoline (two of Tom Wolf's HUGE tax increase proposals). Taxes on cigarettes and gasoline drastically impact the low-middle classes of America far more harshly than upper-middle class and the wealthy.

It's just crazy. Most of Wolf's spending increases are going to a Philadelphia school system that is so corrupt and bankrupt like most of the school district officials are going to jail.

Oh well, my governor's not much better (Delaware's Jack Markell), but at least he only taxed the rich (although has tried to tax gas again).

Rick Scot has done what he said he would do in regard to Floridas budget and the Neo-Socialists hate him for it. But he is ranked number 3 on that list so he must be doing the right things.

Where? The highest ranked D is 13th and most of the higher ranked D's are in states where there is a lot of Federal spending (NY, VA, DL)

Corbett was a dead man walking. Republicans should have ran somebody else.

There are 2 at the top of the second page, that's good for sumpthin' ...no ? Just wait till Tibs weights in, he'll show you the real bias in all this...oh wait, this is the Cato Institute huh ? never mind you're right I wasn't payin' attention..

If he could've got the legislature that was run by his own damn party to pass liquor reform, he would've won in a landslide.

as long as the libs hate him as much as they do, it makes me think he is doing it right.

Wyoming is 7th. Mead is a bit of a rino, and obummer has shut down our coal industry, so it's not really surprising. We still have money in the savings account for this state, though.

The joke around here is "How does a Democrat win an election in Wyoming? Run as a Republican." A lot do. Rinos suck.

I know a guy in a state legislature as a Democrat. I have known him a looong time. In my presence he has never said anything remotely outside what a Republican believes (or should believe!). If he ran as a Republican, he would never have won his seat. I haven't actually looked at his legislative record to see how he votes.
