Floyd vs Conor

Mayweather is what, 10-to-1 favorite? I'll take the young pup McGregor. Loved the presser today. The lead up and the fight should be fun.

I will root for McGregor, but I think Money May will beat his *** like a heavy bag. Side note: I enjoyed seeing Bernard "Racist" Hopkins get knocked completely out of the ring.

If the match stays as intended. Floyd wins easily. Boxing is different than mma.
I have a hunch McGregor will throw in a flying knee and rile up the sports media though lol.

I'll take McGregor by unexpected, mma style KO
But if it stays clean and to boxing. Floyd

Floyd should win hands down, but I will put $10 on McGregor just for fun. I do not think Floyd has enough power to hurt Mac, but Floyd maybe able to just pummel him down with pure volume. Mac will probably be swinging wildly (and missing) especially early on. You also have to wonder about fatigue. Can McGregor last potentially 36 minutes when he is only used to 25?

Floyd should win. I'll be rooting for McGregor. The build up for the match will be tremendous, I loved today's PC.

The press conference was great. McGregor is really seizing the moment. As a boxing fan, a lot of people hate on Floyd, but he's quick & precise. A great boxer.

I am rooting for McGregor though. His charisma, his cool, his "swag" lol. Luck of the irish

I really cant stand either guy, but have more respect for McGregor. His last fight with Diaz he showed he had a lot of heart. If he was just in it for the money he could have mailed it in that fight. I respect Floyds skills, but I think he is a trash person.

Conor says he will knock him out in 4 or less, I go with Conor. Mayweather fights like a *****. He's going to be fighting someone with fighting skills, granted he can't use all of them, but those skills mixed with boxing will be something Mayweather can't account for. He's going to get hit and he's going to drop.

Not going to pay $100 to watch Conor get paid tens of millions of dollars to get a boxing lesson.

Floyd will kill him with the "death-by-a-million-paper cuts" style that he has. Conor will get frustrated and likely lose to a unanimous decision unless he gets lucky with a haymaker.

Is their fight strictly a boxing match? If so, the MMA training means nothing if he can't use it.

Conor is a MMA fighter. He is not a boxer. Just as Mayweather is a boxer and not a MMA fighter. I think Conor gets knocked out or at least beat pretty easy. If this were an MMA fight, Conor would take out Mayweather as long as he could stay away from Mayweather's punching.

Big thing for me is when Conor gets lit up, will Mayweather agree to a rematch but in the MMA ring. He might considering he currently owes over $22 million in taxes plus 30%+ of his winnings for this fight.

I dont see this happening. MMA fighters train boxing, but most boxers dont train MMA. Once Connor tied Floyd up once it would be over. Randy Couture (who was way over the hill) fought James Toney (a good boxer who was over the hill) and Toney looked absolutely ridiculous.

truth.

My assumption is that McGregor will be working on getting into clenches with Mayweather, because who knows what's going to go on when he gets in super close and tight like that. He'll know things he can do inside with his MMA training that the refs may not notice or know how to deal with. Those things may work to fatique Floyd over time or even hurt him.

I would expect no such thing. I think I read somewhere that if McGregor tries a stunt like that he will forfeit his purse.

Who you got?

Certainly not paying for what in all likelihood will be a **** match, but damn do I want Conor to **** Floyd up.

The fight is a face. A 0-0 boxer vs Floyd Mayweather? My sincere hope is in the second round there is a clash of heads that leads to Mayweather being cut and the match being declared a no-contest.

If that's the case.

Floyd easily

Conor has about maybe 5 rounds to get it done if he has any shot. I'd go with a superman punch if it happens.if not Floyd will let him gas and then toy with him.The guy is a master at running around while making guys look stupid If this was a mma match Floyd wouldn't have a prayer. A few nasty low leg kicks, front kicks, spinning back then he'd get taken down and introduced to some nasty elbows before getting choked out....at least that's how I'd see it go down.

I'm pulling for conor all the way. I can't help but admire a self made guy like that. If I'm him I'd take the money and retire.

MMA fighters are part time boxers. This is a boxing match, not a MMA fight. How is Conor going to tie Floyd up in a boxing match? As soon as he does, the ref will break them apart. I would be very shocked if Conor makes this anything less than a unanimous decision for Floyd.
