Floyd vs Conor

If Conor is to stand a chance in a boxing match. He needs a KO. I do think he's a lot more powerful than Mayweather and if he can connect; he should be able to get the KO.

As stated a few posts above. Death by a thousand paper cuts. Which is what I am expecting. Who knows though, maybe McGregor shocks the world
 
I'm expecting one of three things to happen...

1. Floyd will out box Conor and win the match but a real fight will break out at the post press conference.

2. Conor actually lands a solid punch and TKO's Floyd.

3. Conor gets tired of boxing in the late rounds and grabs Floyd to either bite his ear or breaks his arms to end the fight.

I was responding to someone who mentioned Floyd would fight Connor in the octogon next.

I'll take a pit bull over shark if the fight is on the boardwalk.

To have truly made this into something that won't be a disappointment and worth the money (and the even could've raised the prices) is to schedule it as a home and home. Boxing rules, then 6 months later MMA style.

It would be a win for each then. Hell I could go beat Floyd under MMA rules. I just couldn't drop to no 155 lbs. I could maybe make 175lbs without ending up in the er.
 
I've changed my mind and will buy it. The UFC was cool when the purpose was to find out who was the best fighter at each weight class. Can a wrestler really beat an elite striker, can a BJJ dude hang with an real animal - who is the baddest dude? It was very cool. Now Conor is a UFC show pony who hasn't defended a title once, and will make massive bank on a ridiculous fight against Mayweather. I am looking forward to seeing him getting humiliated by a 40 year old retired boxing champion.

It still won't make Floyd the better fighter. Only boxer. I wouldn't feel any humiliation getting around 100 million for it. **** he must feel like he hit the lotto. Hell if I'm Floyd I'd stick my chin out and hands down. The rematch would make twice as much money. They've really taken a page from the wwe when it comes to promoting. People pay big money to watch absolute bullshit and they know it.

I'm on the fence too. Been contemplating on buying it myself. We'll see
 
I stopped buying ppv years ago after a few Mike Tyson fights. 1 round and over..haha

I have been reading that McGregor has been knocked out by his sparring partners a couple times in the training for this fight. I guess $100 million is worth it.
 
This **** is hilarious....the pre-fight build-up is most likely better than the fight will be. But man, McGregor is one cocky SOB, I love his swag. 18+ obviously.


 
Floyd owes more to the IRS than CM has made in his life...funny stuff.

If the american is a piece of trash not going to root for him.

I read the thing about him being KOed in training was a joke.

The wildcard is Vegas. If Floyd takes the flop a rematch would draw a lot of money plus whatever the gangsters give him.

Boxing at this level isn't legit any longer, more corrupt than the Patriots front office. Boxing isn't going to allow an fighter to beat one their best of all time. There is too much riding on this fight and Connor is going to get paid off.
 
Connor will get paid no matter what. Floyd was on jimmy kimmel and said he could make over 300 million of of this fight. That is crazy. I imagine connor would be in that ball park if he wins. Someone would have to be making a ton of money to be able to pay one of them off. I am not sure where Vegas stands at the moment, but last i heard i think they would win if floyd does. I also think connor is too arrogant to get paid off, but we will see.

No reason to take a bribe with the money he's going to get. It would have to be massive. A win would get him another big fight and he could dictate terms. No matter he's set for life off of this fight unless he's a complete idiot in money management. It's hard for me to see him winning unless it's a knockout within the first 5 rounds.
