All I can say is I saw his interview on taking over, he OWNED it. His passion is off the charts and I know time will tell. He had one hell of an NFL career and I'm sure he was exposed to all ranks of coaching.

I'm not saying he is instant savior but heart & Passion an over take a lot while learning on the job.

We need an infusion of passion instead of a "just gettiN bye" persona.

It was a disgrace for every reason he brought up, particularly Saturday declined an assistant coaching position and the Colts passed up their other assistants who have put in the time for the position. However, decent early start for Saturday and the Colts.

Cowher didn't seem to really care how it works out.
 
it helps playing the raiders awful defense. Also seems strange that they go back to Matt Ryan. Wonder if the owner made Reich start Ehlinger and now Saturday gets to go back to Ryan who0 wasn't great but is at least an NFL QB
 
I don't have a dog in that fight but I'm happy the Colts won, if only to shut up the haters for a week.

I saw somewhere Irsay basically forced Reich to bench Ryan.

Agree with this statement.

Give Saturday a chance, hell he's got a 1-0 record to date.

If he can turn in a non-losing season, he might be Mike Tomlin...............................

I feel bad for the Raiders. They should not lose to a team like the colts. I have respect for the Raiders for not taking the easy way out to get to the playoffs last year.. I am also glad Saturday got the win though. I feel he was unfairly attacked. Even squeaking out a few wins should be a big win for him.
 
I won't be rooting for Mr. Saturday come time we play them.
