sure, but "fair for both sides" is totally subjective; who's to say what's "fair"? Maybe he thinks that getting #1 money is fair, since he was willing to sacrifice (in his mind) a year of his career to come back and play with Ben one more time.Juju is a complimentary receiver. He is not a number one but would thrive in a system where he has a star receiver opposite of him. He would do great in Green Bay opposite of Devonte Adams or in Kansas City with Hill. I wouldn’t turn him away if he didn’t ask for number one money but a fair contract for both sides.
it's adorable how much any talk about replacing Tomlin gets you all lathered up. give it a rest, it's going to be a point of contention here, and among probably just about ANY Steelers fan website/message board until the day he's gone.

I have a variety of these now to keep myself entertained as I beat the dead horse of yinz beating the dead horse.
I feel last season, he (Smith-Schuster) learned that he wasn’t going to get number 1 money. Not from anyone. Whatever number 2/3 money will be would be fair IMO. But that’s just me.it's adorable how much any talk about replacing Tomlin gets you all lathered up. give it a rest, it's going to be a point of contention here, and among probably just about ANY Steelers fan website/message board until the day he's gone.
Then you haven't been watching him very close this year. He has made significant progress. Still has room to improve but the light is coming on. Getting rid of him now just wastes all the years of development and creates a new hole to fill.I see nothing from edmunds that would make me want to keep him.
I watch him. He takes bad angles and is out of position more often than not. Like I said earlier, he is normally walking up to the pile after the play is over. I'm not sure where he would rank among safeties, but I'm confident he wouldn't be in the top 20. If someone is running free on our defense it's a high probability that either 55 or 34 is in coverage. Then you haven't been watching him very close this year. He has made significant progress. Yup.We gotta keep killibrew, he's our special teams magic maker

1. If we sign JuJu, Steelers have a mentor-to-mentee, JuJu/Diontae/Claypool ultimate TikTok competition to "become the next Antonio Brown!". JuJu is quite an addition by subtraction, folks.I’d offer JuJu a new contract to be my #2 but not some overpriced deal.
I would offer new contracts to Witherspoon, Killibrew and Edmunds none of which should be too high. If Edmunds balks, let him walk.
Ben is done and will and should retire.
Chucks stinks as well as Turner,
Ray Ray needs to return the pictures back to Tomlin and move the hell on. You have a better player on PS Anthony Miller Tomlin never used.
Washington doesn’t deserve how he’s been treated here and I hope he finds a better home. He will do fine elsewhere!
Spend money and draft for the OL and DL and bring in Mitch Trubisky to be our QB. And please try and find a #1 receiver that this team hasn’t had since little chest was here.
That’s over 2.5 yards an attemptFor all you bring Ben back dudes...Did you watch Bens last game....123 yards on 46 Attempts ?
just my opinion, but if we can get Ben for another year (though I think he's retiring and not coming back), you spend in FA and bring in some good OL, and do so without giving a **** about people's feelings or draft status.
then, you target a Matt Corral or Pickett and move up if you can get him... as long as the price isnt too much, and assuming we're drafting 17th.
Looking at who might take a QB:
6. Carolina
8. NY Giants
9. Washington
10. Atlanta
Though, I do not see either of those as being worth a first round pick. Then again, I didn't think Mac Jones was worth a 1st, either.
It's entirely possible we take a guy like Desmond Ridder or Carson Strong in the 2nd (and that is currently their value).
My priority would be Witherspoon. I think after that JuJu gets an offer but probably not what he’s hoping. 20M-2 years. Probably a prove it kind of deal. The rest I let test free agency. I’d see what Edmunds and Chuks want then say we can talk if you can’t get that elsewhere. If they come back cheap then great. If not then not a big loss. I think Ballage can come back after the draft cheap. Same with Dobbs.what should we do? Cap will go up, so we'll not be hard-pressed against it, but many teams will also have a lot of breathing room.
Looking at our roster, we'll also have some guys going into FA. Chuks is a Free Agent, as is Juju. Do we bring them back, or move a different direction? If you're GM who do you target? A list of free agents is below. We normally target the tier below the top free agents, so some guys will be automatically eliminated.
Our FAs:
Ben, Haden, Juju, EBron, Witherspoon, Trai Turnstile, Edmunds, Killebrew, Washington, Dobbs, McCloud, Maulet, Ballage, Okorafor
I'd offer Juju, Edmunds, Witherspoon, Maulet and Chuks respectable contracts that do not break the bank.
Juju is just 25, Edmunds is 25, Witherspoon is 26, Maulet is 28, and Chuks is just 24
I sniff around Ronnie Harrison and if I can sign him before Edmunds, all the better

He’s a ERFA so we have him for one more for sure. This last game vs the rats probably means a ton for him. If he plays like he did last week I could see the Steelers moving Green to guard and rolling with JC next year. If that happens I could see Moore moving to RT.Hassenauer is a FA, so I'd go and grab the Rats Center.
all that running they do, dude's gotta be at least decent. and decent is better than what we got all season.
I’d rather sign JuJu and move Claypool for a draft pick. Young, physical receiver with decent NFL tape may fetch a # 2 and I’d be all over that. They might be able to get JuJu back for what they paid him this year. He might have to do another prove-it contract or they can sign him to 3 or 4 years at around $8 million per. That is nowhere near No. 1 money and they know what they are getting with him. If they do sign DJ and JuJu, that pretty much means Claypool won't be getting a contract as if he improves like I suspect he will, he will be looking for and getting more money than JuJu.
