during a live game snap judgements are often wrong. watching it later will more calm emotions you can be more rational about the passes and who ****** up....
He was worried about a splash play so he wasted his timeouts? It didn't take long for the apologists to step up in the comments. He's human, he had a brain cramp (oh good one), etc. He does this **** all of the time. Bad challenges, clock management disasters, game adjustments, etc. The list goes on and on.
Sometimes I CUSS the screen even when the clock isn't ticking............
Mrs G. was in the room at the end of the 1st half and learned a few new swear words.......

You mean rewatch game footage? Bah youtube highlights is the way to go. That and making a dislike list and thread to thread reminding fans of someone on my list regardless how good they are playing. Be sure to look for my upcoming draft book publication, "who Walter er who I would have picked". It highlights a group of football players I would have picked in the first round even if they were selected by a team prior to our selection. I have written in crayon a short bio on each pick. Here is an example of past breakdowns: Jonathan Taylor. Had a very fast 40 I would pick him liked him on home improvement. Ed Oliver. Don't like his stats won't go in the first round. If yew don't agree you can throw me a bet outline. I will tweak it. Troy Polamalu. Head too big this is a bust waiting to happen. Buddah Baker. No way a baker can play safety- stick to cooking. Justin Gilbert. Steelers suck at drafting corners. With a very fast 40 this is a can't miss prozpect. Now looking a head I would draft QB Kyle up to the Task out of one of those Florida skools. He can't throw very far but passed for a lot of yards in a game. Very valuable statistick. If Tomlin doesn't draft him he should be fired.

you know the best part of the Troy issue is he doubled down on it recently saying that if your first round pick doesn't start as a rookie it was a bad pick.
my post wasn't even about him though.
It was just a statement of fact. No one can watch the game live and be totally accurate in their initial reactions. Distractions, emotions, uh, beverages all get in the way. You gotta rewatch it or at least watch key segments of the game again to really see what happened.
Even then TMC and I would watch something and still form different opinions. And you are right you review you are focusing in. Like Cope's good catch of that incomplete pass that Steelers should have gained possession.

Spoken for truth. I have learned to just watch the game and ride the emotional ups and downs during the game. When I watch film, I know the outcome so I am rational and I focus on individual and unit efforts. I love frame by frame looks at things and do enjoy the "coaches film" Game Pass gives. Just wish they hand't gotten rid of the all -22's cam.

I am rewatching this game... the colts oline was badly holding our dlinemen... on virtually every play of that first drive you can see jerseys getting pulled real bad...
On the one run play, the olineman had heywards Jersey so bad even after the guy got through the hole where heyward was and heyward turned around to tackle him , the guy still had his arm around him tangled In his jersey while he was making a tackle behind him...

Tomlin stated he was basically shellshocked after they hit the big screen pass that was called back. He just wanted to get to halftime.

I think it was rust cause he ran past two tackles in the first drive alone... pretty much had at least one horrible play on every td drive from the colts...
I also break down receivers using highlights. I don't watch what they do, I watch how they do it. If I see something I like or don't like, it takes a few times to see if it is a pattern or can be corrected.

Right now I have the lion's share of the vids. The ones that get the most plays are my Hidden Plays vids. I have to tag the earlier ones appropriately so they are all on the correct playlist. Good nuggets in there though, and all stuff we can learn to challenge our Football IQ.
FSF and Hoot should start adding film soon as well.
Just updated the first month, everything can be searched by playlists. Hidden plays, and As the game turns.
