Game Day Thread - Steelers vs. Colts

Just awful work there by JPJ. Blanket coverage, no need to grab onto the receiver.

This pretty clearly not a head shot.

It's not saving anyone from head injuries. It's a collision sport. If you're concerned, you should play tennis or maybe bowling.

You don't see anyone giving two ***** about running backs getting smashed in the head from all sides.
I thought Kazee could have pulled up a bit and I did not like the hit, but I am not sure how it warrants an ejection. I cant recall an NFL player getting ejected for a hit. As to your other points, RBs are not normally running full speed when they are taking shots, but I would equate RBs to a boxer taking 50 jabs vs 1 KO shot. I dont think one is any better than the other for your brain

Pittman out with a concussion with an apparent hit to the chest and not the head according to some posters on this board.
You can get a concussion from a hit that starts at chest and snaps your head. Your own replay shows it he turn his body and tries to hit Pittman in the body. His momentum Carrie’s the hit through the chest and snaps his head. It is borderline. Probably a flag but not remotely worth an ejection.

Look at that pocket of the Colts. Giant pocket and zero rush.

gave them the ball back with plenty of time and 3 timeouts.

Getting schooled by Gardner Minschew II. 185 yards passing in the first half. Unbelievable!

Colts get the ball at the half because we inexplicably decided to receive the opening kickoff.
