Steelers fans often get lost in a vacuum with players on the team… to put Claypool in perspective last year, his over all numbers were nearly identical to his rookie numbers except that he wasn’t as productive in catching touchdowns… that really was his only drop off… he had nearly the same receptions, same targets same yardage… hell his rushing yards jumped to 6.9 ypa but he didn’t score a td.
His production was virtually the same as DK metcalf and just a hair below AJ Brown… in the entire nfl, counting rbs, wrs and Tes, he was 35th in yards and 54th in receptions… that is incredibly solid for at best a #2 wr
Yeah his talent level is way higher than his production, but you dont throw the baby out with the bathwater after his sophomore season…
