OK, OK, I'll disregard the last 10-30 years ago, fine. Let's look at what we have got going CURRENTLY between the two franchises.
.) 10-7 vs. 8-9. A two game difference. Not a huge difference, especially considering how we won the last 3 (and how we got beat down in the playoffs). To paint one team as a "train wreck" but not the other, well, ummm, OK.
.) If listening to local fans on the radio was the test to monitor a team's "train wreckness" then I'd say Pgh is in trouble. Fans are NOT in favor of the team's direction in general, by a 2-1 margin.
.) One team got rid or what was considered an "old and defunct" QB while one has added that same QB. We will see how that shapes up.
.) One team has added a "franchise' level young QB while the other added the old and defunct one.
