I am in Indio CA and in the elevator going to the pool I met the daughter of Chuck Ortmann qb for the Steelers in 1951!!!! What a coincidence. I shook her hand and we talked about the Steelers on the way to the pool. Great day.

Chuck Ortmann's daughter was my second guess.

I know, right? My top-5 list (in order):
  • Katarina Witt's brother-in-law
  • Chuck Ortmann's daughter
  • Bert of Muppet fame (could be Joe Flacco, hard to tell the difference)
  • Amy Seritello, the 2005 Miss Wisconsin Cheese Queen or
  • Haneul Yu-Jin, a Kim Jong Un body double

If I am reading his wiki correctly, he was the 20th pick in 1951. was our starting QB in 51 and then waived in 52. strange

I'm in tears laughing!!!

God, I love this place.

Also love Indio. Did a lot of hunting out there in the day. What were you doing there, besides stalking the daughters of 20th round NFL picks of decades past?

Perhaps in 1970 or so.

Swimming and looking at all the hot chicks in thongs at the lazy river. Will take phone tomorrow. Don't ban me.

She said his salary that year was 8k. Traded to the Texans.
