Guess Who I Just Met?

I was actually sitting about ten feet from Gerald and Betty Ford in the Teterboro airport. I would have stood up and shook his hand, but I didn't feel like getting tackled by the eight guys with wires going from their ears into their shirt collars.
Did you offer to buy Betty a drink.

Not again - people can hear me laughing cuz I'm in the office!!!

berm, that’s a good sign. Laughter is underused at times, in this world.

I have a daily goal to get at least one “GENUINE“ laugh out of some one. ( I usually exceed that)

Some of the best laughs are when you can laugh at yourself, with someone.

I’m wired a little differently, I would have approached a member of the security team and showed them ID and asked if I could say Hello to President Ford. I would have told them where I was from and I’d like to think the odds would have been They’d let me.

I’ve met a lot of people, I have a good gift a communication in all levels of life. Young to old and educated to n on-educated, I’ve been able to talk To and LISTEN. (Listening and hearing what is being said is key).

Any way, still pretty kewl beans to actually see a president in public.

Peyote enlightenment

Don’t need any artificial stimuli to enjoy humor.

Peyote is just my transportation into my spirit world.

Tacos? When was this?

So, it's an automatic?

I have “person” sensors so when (for example) Lunar gets behind the wheel, it goes into a “special” mode that makes Lunar think he’s shifting but it is actually in an “automated” drive sequence…. So he can’t **** it up. It drives for him, under the guise that he is “driving”.

One more thing…….. I probably shouldn’t say anything but when he thinks it‘s on E, there is still a profitable amount of gas still in it………..

Even the Coolie Cooties?

Coolie hasn’t actually driven the LUXURY S10 due to how he is like Al Bundy,

He always rides with his hand in his diaper….. Fresh changed or not………….

A-N-D

Yes, we have a self flooding / disinfectant system installed on the LS10, economical use of 4.2 gal. Per….

In the 50’s, roster sizes were like 33 or 34 players and there was no such thing as IR or practice squads…any injury that was severe basically ended your career…

the average league salary adjusted for inflation was about 50 to 60 grand in 2023 dollars, but most players, especially rookies, made far less… so players often quit for better pay in other fields… it wasn’t like today… sometimes 1st round picks didn’t even sign with the team, taking a better job elsewhere or playing in a rival league
Right. It used to be common for star college players to pass on playing professionally because it didn’t pay enough.

College football was also more popular than pro football until the 1960s.
