Harrison has been signed by Cheats

You said you can't see yourself comfortable paying for food and vet bills, that's because you're poor. A few hundred dollars here and there for vet bills and food is so insignificant to me I wouldn't have even brought it up like you did. That's why you talk so much **** on here because you're a loser.

So because I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on an animal that makes me poor? If I ****** your wife or sister at some point and it made you upset, I guess I apologize? Take your hurt feelings about your precious little puppies somewhere else, no one gives a ****, you pissant

Actually it make you responsible. I also at this time choose not to have a dog for a few reasons. Of course it might make me "poor" and a "loser" though. Never really looked at it that way. :(

What everyone seems to be missing here, is all Deebo had to do was bide his time and be a good teammate as the team makes a push in the playoffs. This is the franchise that's had his back and brought him back on a two-year contract. Injuries can happen in the blink of an eye, he could have been on the field in the playoffs with a team contending for the SB. He's 39 years old for Christ's sake, all time franchise sack leader, SB hero, a true legend...what does he have to prove? His role was his role, given the players in front of him. You think the Steelers would be stupid enough not to play him if he brought more to the table than Watt or Dupree? Of course not. So he slid into a backup role, a perfect one at that for a player of his age and stature. He could have gone out the right way, the Steelers way, pushing the young LB's and the defense to a championship. And again, who says the Steelers would not have put him on the field if it made sense against a particular LT or an offense they happened to be facing?

But no, Deebo got stupid and selfish and made this about him. No way the locker room turns on a guy with his legendary status unless he was being an outright *******. Based on how players are reacting, that seems to be the case. It's too bad, his ego got the best of him. He forced his way off the team two weeks before the playoffs then signs with our biggest adversary on the planet. Harrison became a troll, at the worst possible moment, at the twilight of his career. It did not have to end this way. There is nobody to blame but Deebo himself. It's too ******* bad because he was a stud for so many years.

I'm not close to being "poor", that loser just has hurt feelings because I have the audacity to prefer not to own a pet, and I probably embarrassed him at some point in the past, so he couldn't help himself.

As good as an organization as the Steelers are, they handle the departure of aging vets and coaches badly.

So how should they handle it when they think an “aging vet’s” skills have diminished and the “aging vet” disagrees. I’m not sure there is a good way to handle it. They have James the freedom to go out and test the market when they could have selfishly held on to him. That seems pretty accommodating approach to me.

It was no different with Hi es and Troy. Both were given the opportunity to ply their talents elsewhere, but there were no takers. By the way, 30 other teams passed on the opportunity to pick him up.

You don't believe this, do you? They have no depth at linebacker and needed a pass rusher. Pass rushing is about the only thing Harrison may still be able to do at this point so they went out and got the best available option. They couldn't care less about their legacy as they are sitting in their homes at night shining their many Super Bowl rings.

Actually, yes. We'll see.

As if you can't even remember the few women you've actually ******, *****. Bet you wouldn't be talking **** about my wife and sister if you were here?!

Don't think too damn hard about it.

The whole thing is just sickening.

The FO shouldn't have signed him to a 2 year contract if they didn't believe he could play. And once he WAS signed, I still refuse to believe they couldn't come up with defensive scenarios where Harrison's strengths could be an asset.

I can easily see him being a ******** about his playing time. Much like Lloyd, he wasn't hired for his disposition. Still, who want's Deebo pissing and moaning 24/7 on the sidelines either. The entire fiasco just stinks of poor player and FO management. If they didn't think he could play, why the **** make some half-*** statement that "James Time Will Come." Particularly when you either have no plan whatsoever of actually using him, or if you have no idea whether or not your going to use him.

As for transitioning old less productive players out... The Steelers have made it something of an art form. See Hines Ward, and Troy Polomalu for the latest examples.

I just hate the way it was handled. If Harrison wanted out because he wasn't being played, fair enough. If the Steelers felt he was SO useless that they could let him go, fair enough. Hold a ******* press conference and have an amicable split. Say, Geez, we appreciate James' contribution and we really want to give him the chance to compete with a team that has roster space and a need for his extraordinary skill set.

And James say, I'm sorry things didn't work out in Pittsburgh this year. I love this town and I wish you all the best, but I'm born to compete and right now the team is pretty set at my position so we've all agreed to let me go out and try to find a team that will let me do what I do best.

See, everyone is happy. Or as happy as they can be and it's a PR WIN instead of a Class A Goat ****.

Maybe you should have provided your script for all of the parties to read. lol

Unfortunately, these things are never that clean and clear cut, and even if they are there are multiple ways to ha Dee them.

..spot on and if you factor in his troubles in the beginning of his career, you see he showed his true colors. A *******. A ******* that gave us some special moments, but a ******* none the less.

All this for a washed up 39 yo LBer that probably won't even see a meaningful snap.

I thought about that but you just KNOW Deebo would have thrown it away and said "I am Iron Man."

:whoo:

I say we all just let it go. It's over. Like the catch that wasn't, the Pass Interference that never happened, the poor choices at the end of the game on at least 6 different peoples' behalf...

Just let it go. As somebody else said. Deebo got what he wanted, be happy for him. I can live with that.

James Harrison Patriots jerseys just went on sale at nike.com. Here is a sneak peek:

At the end of the day it's a ****** situation all around. Really sucks Deebo took this road. In the end, all we can do is laugh it off and move on.
