agreed.

Whatever I was just ******* around asking him what is address is. It's kinda bullshit that I was reprimanded by a mod for talking about a wife wearing the pants in a game thread and no one said ****,when he's talking about ******* mine.No ****. Now the Harrison side of the story:

I don't blame the guy for wanting to play, but I don't like a guy wanting out during the season. However, when you're at the end of your career, it's at least understandable why you'd think that way. I have no doubt the Steelers mislead him on playing time and I have zero problem with him signing with New England after the release.

At first I was pissed but after reading that it's pretty hard to blame him for where he ended up.
lol godbless ya, blitz
At the end of the day it's a ****** situation all around. Really sucks Deebo took this road. In the end, all we can do is laugh it off and move on.

.
I get it. However, do you think that James not sticking around for practices and positional meetings had an impact on his playing time? I mean... how would it look to reward him with snaps after he has set such a poor example during the week (for the young players)? How would YOU handle that as a coach?
Don't hate me... think about it. His compounded action gave the Steelers very few options. IMHO.
He'd continue to sit the bench.
They could allow him to continue to sulk from the bench, give him playing time, or grant his request and release him so he could go to a team where he could play. Any of the options would have been appropriate, maybe some better than others. In a way, they ended up doing right by the player allowing him to continue on with his playing career since he would continue to ride the bench in Pittsburgh.
Oh yea and PS
I got this BACON maker thingy you bake BACON in the oven with. AWESOME so maybe having BACON for supper. I'm not sure what to have with it but I've heard BACON is good added to nearly anything.... Maybe I'll add it to my BACON I'm allready having.
BACON it's what's for supper
Salute the nation
my workplace has a small cafeteria/bistro owned separately, by a local restauranteur, they have pretty good stuff, typical hot/cold sandwiches, fries, soups, small salad bar, breakfast in the morning, etc etc. The head cook always has this pan out full of cooked bacon sitting out, for dishes that involve bacon or whatever, and whenever i go in there to get a candy bar or whatever for a snack, i always jokingly ask him, "how much for that pan of bacon?" one of these days he's gonna give me a price i might just take him up on it, eat bacon at my desk all day.
LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twntytwofity,....buy it and eat it.!!!!!! Go in there and order a beagle or a donut and ask for a piece of bacon on that.........
Salute the nation

mmmm...a bacon sandwich, where the bread is two glazed donuts.. .
Add bacon to sandwiches or by itself.
But sandwiches with bacon is great
Obviously he has a vendetta against the Steelers for being snubbed.
Harrison has been on this team longer than anyone besides Ben and knows the playbook and signals inside out.
You say they already had the tape on us?They had the steelers tape from spygate in 2007.
I would think after spygate the Steelers changed up signals and anything else the Pats had tape on. Would you disagree?
James Harrison is shot, and has been shot since we released him years ago. Its not about what he is capable of doing on the field.
Its the fact that the steelers orginization gift wrapped a 10+ year Vet with a wealth of information for the winningest coach in the history of the league who is famous for using inside information/ video tapes against their opponents.
What an Epic troll job by Belichick
My God some of you are such sniveling little *******
Some of you disgust me. Truly.
I haven't seen any verified reports that Deebo caused a cancer in the locker room. I haven't seen verified reports where he asked to be released. We have magical Steve who can read lips and body language. So I guess THAT's something.
Harrison has always been among our most loved players. And you ******* 2 faced ******* turn on him the instant he signs with another team? A team that says they'll give him the opportunity to compete. For a ring no less?
Is it a crime of Harrison to have some pride? To believe he can still contribute?
No wonder Terry Bradshaw hates Pittsburgh. You people really do eat your own. Some of you have no ******* loyalty or respect whatsoever. This is James Harrison. Deebo. All Time Sack Leader? And he could have more if he was played more. Sure, he may not be the best fit for the new defense. Sure, he never gets his holding call flags thrown. (I'm about 93% sure he will now though.) And I can't imagine he wasn't frustrated sitting on the bench while the Steelers called some ******' guy sitting on his couch eating ******* popcorn.
But you - you sorry sons a ******* are going to whine and moan that he went somewhere he can play? **** you. Being loyal to the Steelers means you're loyal to both the organization AND the coaches and players that help make it up. You can *****. You can gripe when they don't do as well as or even what you think they ought to. And it's fair to recognize that maybe a player or two isn't able to contribute like they once could. But you DON'T, I repeat you do NOT revert to full on ***** mode when they get cut unceremoniously in the middle of a very special season and then go find themselves a new job.
You should also keep in mind that Tomlin only has 1 guy to get rid of now. Just one. We'd best ride that ************ out on a rail to eh? Maybe they can cut his *** before the playoffs as well.
There are ways to do things and ways not to do them. What they did with Harrison was a great example of how NOT to do things. If Harrison had truly asked for his release, then a public statement should have been made before-hand saying as much in order to clarify to the entire fanbase that Harrison was looking for an opportunity to compete for a ring and he wasn't going to get that here. No harm, no foul.
Instead, the FO has thrown Harrison under the bus so anything he does makes him look bad. Well **** that. Tomlin said Harrison's time will come. We just failed to understand what he meant.
Agree 100%
and now all this sudden airing of all the locker room "dirty laundry" to the public - just to keep Tomlin from being embarrassed.
Disgusting, We have become the Bengals.
ha ha
You mean you believed that "airing of laundry" wasn't orchestrated? A team he gave everything for now wants to stab him in the back?
riiiiiight
And when has Maurkice Pouncey ever said anything good about somebody other than Aaron Hernandez?
You know... people ***** when we cut players that either can help someone else or who aren't getting a real chance here, but that stuff is why the org ishighly thought of... it sucks that he wanted to get out, but this wasn't the first or even second time we cut this guy and each time he went to a rival who never treated him right... like Lloyd or Porter or Woodson or webster or Franco or and of the laundry list of stars that ended their careers elsewhere, its bad now but all will be forgiven in time
