Harrison retires

How about that game against the rats? He took that game over, had multiple sacks / couple fumbles / I think even an interception. Just blew it up.

Salute the nation

I remember that chump Trevor Price giving him no credit after that game basically saying he got lucky and would never have a game like that again. Well, maybe he didn't exactly have a game like that again, but he did make the next 5 pro bowls, was Def. POY the very next year, and had one of the most iconic plays in SB history. Suck on that Pryce!

Nobody will. I was at the game in Cleveland the following yr (2006) and he was just coming back after being out for a couple of games. I was down right in the front of the Dog Pound before the game watching warm ups and when he came over close to me, I yelled out something like "you mother f'ers better watch out and not get any stupid ideas about running on the field or anything. You see 92 back out there and you remember what happened last yr. I'd really hate to see any of you end up in the hospital or anything." Man, almost had to fight and get kicked out before the game even started. Thanks for the memories Deebo. Damn, I wish you just took that deal we offered last yr.

Harrison is one of my absolute favorite Steelers of all time. Loved his passion and intensity. Dude would make a GREAT Strength and Conditioning coach..

I loved the game against the Ravens in 2007:

10 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 2 STF for 12 yards, 1 interception returned for 20 yards, and one pass defensed.

Harrison sits at the top of the list of Steeler LB's for me.

That was one of the best games ever by a Steeler. Especially given the context which was the Ravens sort of dominated us physically a few games prior.
I remember Harrison blowing up Ed Reed causing one of the fumbles. Then on his interception, he straight armed a Raven and literally pummelled him into the ground. He just friggin owned them that night (along with Hines Ward).

Supposedly there is a press conference called for today at 2 pm, where the Steelers will Officially retire Harrison as a Steeler, or so says Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. This may be why they cleared the space on their retired/reserved list

See? See? They shouldn't have given out his jersey number so soon. Its just not right. (There's a Kevin Meaney joke in there somewhere)

Can't get on the fricken page!! Too many people I guess...

The Rog will probably figure out a way to fine him for that, too.

Loved James Harrison as a player, but appreciated how damn good he was now that he is gone. What a flat out dominant player who could have easily said "I quit" when he faced adversity early in his career.
