H-e-l-l to the no. Trubisky or Rudolph could do what Pickett is doing. Could have used that pick for an OLineman or DLineman. In hindsight, it was not a smart pick, at least not so far.
 
Not counting this past draft because it’s too early, but the top picks of the five drafts before the last one have set this team back years. Pickett, Harris, Claypool, Bush and Edmunds. Woof. Absolutely unacceptable.
 
My son played on a youth football all-star team. He was a defensive lineman and OC. The team had a GREAT defense. Dominating. But their offense ... yikes. Not good. The team won one game 2-0. Yes, 2-0, I **** you not.

That team had a better offense than the Steelers.

Because you have to scheme those guys open and call plays to the middle of the field, we don't do that

I did miss that. My bad. Picking QB's in the 1st round is not even a 50% win rate. I am not going to call him a bust until he gets past Canaduh next year. Would you have given up on Allen among others after their first year? No, you wouldn't. KP has things to work on for sure. But, he needs a new OC and an OL that can pass block. He hasn't had that last year or this year.

One analyst said before the game that Canaduh should be fired if the Steelers don't win this game. I agree and think he should have been fired at the bye or even after last season.

I bet there are open guys. Kenny cannot find them a lot of times and the other times, he gets his passes knocked down or he is running for his life behind the sieve of an OL we have . There is incompetence in several aspects of the offense.
 
What can you say? Not like our Defense is doing anything special. Obviously our Offense isn’t.
Their OLine is much better than ours. The last 5 games Cleveland’s defense has allowed 31,0,24,38,and 17 points.
So they can be scored on. Not that I have any faith in our Offense. they are a second half team supposedly so we will see.

We will need a turnover. Or two.

Not the first time we’ve seen under 100 yards in the first half. It’s a regular occurrence the last 4 years.
 
So chances the Steelers take the 2nd half kickoff and score a TD? Rate the likelihood:
  • Win the lottery
  • Win the lottery again
  • Win the lottery a 3rd time
  • Steelers drive for a TD right now
I go #1, #2 #4 and #3
