Sorry slash Love is what he isWhat I say about Kenny rings true for Love. It is a wait and see. Neither QB is where we would ultimately want them to be. They are green so really hard to stamp either with a final conclusion. What we do know is both need to improve to go to where our teams ultimately desire them to go.
Love needs to clean up some of those INts but those will be there with inexperience. What he showed early is those three TD games but those came against two iffy teams in Chicago and Atlanta.
So what both QBs are showing now is game manager capable. The questions come as to will they be more than that. Develop into more than that.
Year 2 and 3 starting will direct us with a better understanding of which way that arrow is pointed.
Probably not but he was behind AR so you don't get much experience sitting on the bench. I don't know how long his leash is. He will have to improve by seasons end I would presume.Sorry slash Love is what he is
He’s been in the system 4 years or so behind one of the top all time QB s
Don’t think he improves much
Yea, look, I'm not gonna argue that our pathetic, listless, anemic offense isn't hurting the D effort and results; of course constantly going 3 and out the abhorrent offense in general cripples the D. How couldn't it? All I'm saying is that the D isn't completely blameless 100%. Sure, if we had some semblance of an offense, say, like top 20 even the D stats would be better. If we had a top 15 O, the D could be well respectable. But the D isn't iron clad all things considered.Regardless the D has been on the field a lot. I think we were leading the league in 3-n-outs at one point. The one game we had a 92yrd drive and still managed only 80 yrds of offense part way through the 3rd quarter. That is near impossible in todays NFL. I have no idea what the stats out, but lets say our defense defends 80 plays / game and other defenses defend 70 plays / game. Even if the plays only gain 3 yrds / play that comes out to another 30 yrds / game given up. The defense has kept us alive this year and w/o it we could possibly have no wins. Our stats are also a little skewed by the blowout losses.
