Heyward Vs. Gentry

The front page of the site had an article about Cam Heyward being a cut candidate. I would keep him over Gentry. Heyward seems to have alot of upside and good chemistry with Pickett. Gentry seems solid but nothing special. I would keep the younger more versatile player who's brother also happens to be a star on the team over gentry. If Heyward is looking for more playing time and wants to leave i can understand that, but i don't think he should be a cut candidate based on other factors

Gentry has a better chance of getting cut over Heyward. With Heyward listed has FB/TE, he seems to be taking over Watt’s role giving both a good chance of making the roster.

Little Heyward is making it as a TE/fullback. I'm expecting both him and Gentry making the team as we will see a lot of two TE sets on the field if the rookie is healthy

I don’t think Green has a chance at fullback. He’d strictly be a blocking fullback. No speed, no hands, nothing to offer in the passing game, and can’t be used on jet sweeps.

Conner is a playmaker and will be fine. He can play rb/fb/ and Te… if they were to keep 3 tes and another fb, he would be the third RB… he plays special teams too

I don’t think Green has a chance at fullback. He’d strictly be a blocking fullback. No speed, no hands, nothing to offer in the passing game, and can’t be used on jet sweeps.

I thibnk Green is sent walking or kept due to his low cap hit. He may get a looksie, but highly doubt he will have a main role.

I hereby propose we move Canada to FB and, perhaps, after a few plays he will be out for the season (including coaching).

I heard about a remarkable vitamin that promotes memory, but you would not be interested.

It costs $50 and that is apparently beyond your budget.

He does make plays when given the opportunity. And he received too few of them last year. He and Kenny seem to have a connection.

Drafting Jones means that the odd man out at OT can be used as that #3 blocking TE. If Washington shows early in camp that he's at least the equal of Gentry as a blocker, do the Steelers want to carry that extra blocking TE?

Watt (Derek) is not on the roster. He wasn't resigned.

I like Gentry. I feel like Washington was a luxury.....but too good to pass up. Heyward showed too much promise and has position flexibility. They didn't know they would get a TE in the draft so I believe they will eat 152k on Gentry. But even with that Washington is cheaper on the field then Gentry. Gentry only stays if there is an injury. I wonder if he gets a look somewhere or ends up on PS.
