The GOP will vote for it now when there's not a chance of it passing the Senate and/or getting signed by Sleepy Joe.
and the Dems will want it abolished under the next Republican POTUS citing it as a raysiss organiztion propped up by the GOP to investigate minorities for their income, purchases and lack of finances due to patriatic huwyte primassey systemic racist capitalistic policies.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy confirmed Monday night that Democratic California Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell will be removed from the House Intelligence Committee and the House will vote on the removal of Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
In February, McCarthy told the Daily Caller that if he is elected Speaker that he intends to strip Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee and Swalwell and Schiff from the Intelligence Committee. On Monday, McCarthy confirmed to The Associated Press (AP) that he would be moving forward with that decision, saying both Swalwell and Schiff should not have seats on the committee.
McCarthy has said Swalwell’s reported relationship with a Chinese spy and Schiff’s defense of the Steele dossier are some of the reasons they should be removed from the committee. McCarthy has said Omar’s anti-Semitism is a reason she should be removed from Foreign Affairs.
“Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector. I’m not going to give him a government security clearance. Schiff has lied to the American public…,” McCarthy told The AP. (RELATED: Gingrich Defends McCarthy’s Threat To Remove Dems From Committees, Says Pelosi ‘Set The Precedent’)
Libertarians have been trying to get that stupid thing banned for decades… do the math… you could do a small universal sales tax, only tax income for foreigners working in the country or money being moved out of the country by external corporations and garner more money than the income tax on citizens

I would LOVE to see this passed.
But alas, it won't go anywhere.
At this point in our country, since it's founding, if it doesn't help our elected crooks in office get more money and more power, and if it's logical and transparent, it ain't happening.

And it's still not enough. We're 31 trillion in debt or 94,000 dollars for every single person. What do we get? The democrats hiring an armed army to squeeze every dime they can out of the middle class and those below the poverty line. Which will amount to peanuts toward debt. It's just to create fear. They thrive on creating fear,crisis and division. Without it they'd serve no purpose and die on the vine.
What do we get ? Spending bills thousands of pages long. We get to leave billions in equipment in foreign countries to our enemies. We get a massive bloated government that employs far too many people and constantly grows in its need for more. It's a money sucking black hole filled with corrupt self serving overlords.

The income tax makes up too much of the revenue the government brings in. The only thing that will end the income tax is the coming governmental collapse.

The Fair Tax might actually bring in more revenue but the government would have less control and much of the lobbying industry is about carving out tax breaks.

A Fair Tax or a Flat Tax would eliminate over 90% of lobbyists.........which the 1%ers won't let happen, because now you're messing with their money.
