Just to add to this... a libertarian ran as well and pulled thousands of votes from Bevin.

A Libertarian candidate will pull votes from both sides but more from the GOP. The Democrat won by 5000 votes but the Libertarian got 28,000 and I gotta think if there was no Libertarian Party candidate the Republican would have got 20,000 more and the Democrat 8000. For a Libertarian to get that many votes means there were a lot of people who didn't like either of the major party candidates.

Dems, despite spending a fortune, lost badly in MS despite running a guy who been AG since 2003

Va been a blue state the last 3 elections. Trump did not even bother to go there since it is a lost cause

Dems spent a ton of money in MS for Jim Hood. He's seen as a conservative democrat. If you watch his ads you'd never know he was a democrat. The only way you can tell if someone running is a dem is if they don't tell you their party affiliation. Then you know it's a dem trying to fool people into voting for them.

Reps cleaned up in MS. They have every government seat and a 60% super majority in the state senate.

I've noticed that here also. Emails, print ads, radio, etc. the word Democrat isnt used. By hook or crook.
